Residence Inn Memphis Downtown

The staff, location and services were amazing. All staff from the front desk, valet, breakfast attendants, and housekeepers were welcoming and helpful. Loved the roof top deck and on-site Starbucks. Easy walk to almost all the major tourist attractions, parks, economy and high end restaurants, and the waterfront. Most impressive was the size of the room. Our suite was the size of a large apartment with a private bedroom area.

The laundry service was great including free detergent and dryer sheets but the location of the washer/dryer area was a little isolated on the top floor.

* We had a fantastic stay here. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and both the room and bathroom were immaculate throughout our visit. * The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to get a great night’s sleep after exploring Memphis. * Breakfast was one of the highlights. There was an excellent selection of both hot and cold options, including bagels, breads, fresh fruit, Greek and protein yoghurts, and plenty of hot breakfast items. Everything was well stocked and kept clean. * If you prefer coffee from Starbucks, there’s one connected to the hotel, which was a really convenient bonus. * The room included everything we needed, including an iron and ironing board, and the overall amenities were excellent. * The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. * The location is ideal, with Beale Street and many of downtown Memphis’ main attractions within easy walking distance. * There are laundry facilities on the rooftop (you’ll need coins to use them), which is really useful if you’re travelling for longer. * The rooftop also has lovely views over the Mississippi River, making it a nice place to take in the city. * Although we didn’t use the gym, it looked clean, modern and well equipped. * The small market by the front desk was really handy, offering drinks, juices, instant noodles and other snacks if you needed something quickly. * Valet parking costs $35 per night, so it’s worth factoring that into your budget if you’re travelling by car.

The hotel was within walking distance to Beale St or a short Uber ride to other attractions like Stax Records. The room was a King Suite and had plenty of room. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

There wasn't much I didn't like about the hotel. No major issues.
