The Lodge is indeed not far from the downtown, and the room was just like on the pictires, and very clean.
The area is not safe, very noisy in the night. And all day long prostitutes walk nearby or stand on the intersection, and they are also very noisy in the night.

Had to drive through shader parts of town to get there.

The facility is well maintained by the owner.
Ho's and pimps with REALLY LOUD cars and car stereos trolling the street in front. It didn't seem safe to go outside after the sun went down. Also, aside from a Burger King a block away, there is NOTHING to eat in the area, and no convenience store around.

Very convenient place. Its a great value, the bed is very comfortable, nice small table, its quiet enough off of main streets but very close to the freeway.
Its an affordable motel, expect affordable motel amenities.

Property has great staff, very friendly. They kept asking us and making sure that everything was okay with our room and our stay. The room was nice, clean, and exactly what we needed for our trip. I would stay here again.

The location is in a seedy part of town and very noisy.

I Met a woman named GLM and we had sex, she was caught sneaking in the dog and I was charged $20.00 extra fo rthe dog ,the staff said it was going to be $40.00 but we settled for $20.00 and the management told me she GLM had to remove the dog form the premises .it was a huge mistake, but the room was great!

staff, cleanliness,requests andbuilding were all very good, the only thing is the location. Most of Oakland is crime ridden, but we were safe on site. Owner always on grounds checking. It would be fantastic in another location other than Oakland. Staff very helpful in all questions. Very helpful, great, kind gentleman

This USED to be my goto hotel for work they beds were nice and close to the hospital where i sometimes have to work long shifts
The pillows as usual and the deposit NOT outlined in any of their terms and conditions. And they refused to take a different credit card but demanded cash. If i would have gotten a SMOKING room NO DEPOSIT but a non smoking room required a cash deposit. Made ZERO sense
