I liked the golf course! And despite poor reviews on yelp and trip advisor we were pleased with the food preparation. However selection of entrees and apps were VERY limited. Staying there for several days I had to repeat meal selection and we went off site too to find variety. Never a pasta option, seriously? The spa is nice but I was extremely annoyed to find a surcharge added to bills that didn’t go directly to service provider, and I prefer to tip as I see fit. We enjoyed the Bretton woods gondola and had a nice lunch up there with the spectacular views! The staff in the stores were excellent as were dining room servers and shuttle bus drivers. We had two incidents that we brought to management and once we we’re treated rudely and the attitude was dismissive. The second was a very good manager who listened attentively and was eager to provide solution and satisfaction. But overall our stay was extremely unsatisfactory.

I think I’ve told you a lot about our dissatisfaction in my detailed answers to the above questions. We have stayed at the hotel many time over the years and we were sadly disappointed with our recent stay. Also, all bathrooms should have rubber mats in tubs and some grab handles installed. One person in our party fell and I personally had great difficulty remaining safe in bathroom. The upkeep, furnishings, mishandling of charges(in many instances), cleanliness of open areas and breakfast room, porch maintenance and furniture is severely lacking or missing or deteriorating.

because of short staffing many things were closed. this made it hard to find dining options. the main dining room had only one vegetarian option so multiple nights of dining was a problem and no real other options. it was also very loud

the Inn was quaint and very dog friendly. I loved sitting by the fireplace in the lobby. I loved the setting of the Inn

The Restaurant and bar - at least bar with food- was not open for New Years especially .. you could have had drinks served after noon with easy foods-chips and salsa and guacamole- different types of guacamole- margaritas. People would have loved it. Wine tasting with cheese and crackers … you have local winery- I’m sure they would have loved to come to the Inn and do wine and cheese event. easy for you and good business for them!! A suggestion for breakfast would be add packets of oatmeal and fruit. easy and healthy option vs the delicious warm muffins served daily.

the rooms were clean, comfortable & nicely decorated. Amenities and activities at the resort were plentiful (and it’s proximity to Bretton Woods ski mountain was wonderful). We especially loved the New Year’s Eve fireworks show!

Nothing negative to say about the property.

My husband and I loved our experience. The room was larger and nicer than we expected. The service was exceptional - friendly, responsive and professional. The breakfast was also better than expected - great variety/selection.

The horseback ride was not a good experience. The ride was rather boring. The horses were great. But the worst part was the ride leader. She was very unprofessional -offering unsolicited political opinions.

Great Location and rich history.

Good location. Good food. Pleasant setting.

The food was overpriced. I had the lobster pot pie and found about 3-4 small pieces of lobster. That was skimpy.

Staff was excellent

Couldn't take the shuttle back to the hotel from Stickneys Friday night in the rain. We were told that only the wedding party could use the shuttle. We walked back to the hotel in the rain. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed due to staffing shortages, which we were unaware of before we arrived.

Internet service was intermittent, and weak when it was working, this was annoying Also could not get reasonable reservations for the main dining room and Stickneys.

The breakfast I found fair. Stickney's was excellent.

I wish at the Inn they were able to have their restaurant open. I felt disconnected. No water bottles in the room. No vending machines to purchase. The breakfast at the main dinning room was fair. Found the staff at Stickney's the friendliest. Making dinner reservations was a task had to call as at the Inn he said probably won't need reservations and it was sold out that evening for dining room.
