The staff is incredible! Beds are comfortable and the pool/spa area can’t be beat!
The continental breakfast they provide is a nice one but of course a hot breakfast would really be outstanding.

the service was amazing, super helpful, fun little snacks everywhere in the lobby,
property has some age to it.. Could use some updating, but it does create a cool vibe the way it is.

The pool looked beautiful
It was my 50th birthday this year. In anticipation of this milestone, I had one simple wish—to swim in a pool. Growing up in Florida, every one of my birthdays was spent swimming. Now that I live in Montana, finding a pool for my birthday required additional planning, and that's exactly what I did.
After an extensive search, I reached out to the Lewis and Clark Motel and explained my birthday plans. They told me I had to book a room, which was surprisingly expensive for a dressed-up Motel 6, to access the pool. Fine. The pool looked cool, and I’m worth it! You only turn 50 once, right? I booked the room, asking for an early check-in, and a late check-out.
When we arrived, I once again emphasized that my sole purpose was to enjoy a swim in the pool with my kids, and that we wouldn't even be sleeping in the room. The following morning, on my birthday, we returned to the motel, eagerly anticipating a day of floating in the pool. I turned in the room keys to an unoccupied front desk, and looked forward to the poolside retreat. We stepped out briefly for an errand, and when we came back, still well within our approved late check-out time, the person at the front desk unexpectedly denied us access to the pool.
I explained the situation, telling them that I returned the keys because we didn't use the room, assuming we could still use the pool. I was told that since we were no longer registered guests, access to the pool was off-limits. I asked for an exception considering the circumstances, only to be met with another refusal.
I can't comment on the quality of the beds or the water pressure in the shower, but I can say with certainty that Lisa, the owner and manager of this place, lacked any form of kindness or understanding, and in this instance, didn’t operate her business with hospitality.
To make sure I wasn't crazy, I called several other hotels in the area with pools to ask about their policies.

It was quiet. The staff was amazing! I had to change the schedule of my stay, last minute, and the staff made that happen! I enjoyed the Eucalyptus Steam room and hot tub.

The owner is fabulous, very sweet and welcoming. Feels like a fancy home away from home. We love the spa facilities, nice and quiet. Kids loved it too. Beds are comfortable, rooms clean.
Seems a tad expensive but everything is right now.

The pool, jacuzzi and steam room were beautiful and perfect
There was a old wall AC unit not secured in place, the outside was visible! I asked for a new room and was promptly obtained however the noise from people above me was horrendous!

very friendly, helpful staff, good location, clean comfortable room
VERY expensive for pretty average room. Wifi was poor. Limited workspace in room, Not easy to find plugs near the desk. Breakfast is provided, but very basic. Sliding glass doors provide lots of light, but at the cost of no privacy at all unless you pull the drapes. No daily maid service - which I should get for this price. I understand raising prices during a time of high demand, such as student move in, but then you also have to expect being held to a higher standard. I felt like the prices were really out of line for the quality and that they were really price gouging. If I had it to do overagain, I would have preferred to pay more and gotten a better room and experience.

Breakfast was grab and go. We really wanted a little more like toast, fresh fruit, eggs and possibly some meat. For the price of $400 a night we thought we would get more for breakfast.

What an absolute gem of a place! I have never stayed in such a special hotel before. It is so unique and charming, with so many little details and beautiful extras that make you feel like a VIP. The owner was so welcoming and accommodating, she made our entire family feel right at home after long drive. The pool, sauna and hot tub area are just incredible -- beautifully maintained and absolutely luxurious. We left feeling rejuvenated and refreshed!
