There was a maggot in my daughters bed and a cricket in the bathroom which didnt bother me but the maggot part did....we took a picture of it and the guy there wasnt willing to make any compensation for the situation....had fly strip hanging over by the sink....i understand remodeling and so forth but rooms there use to be 60ish and we paid over 80 dollars for the night.....we canceled second night....wont go back...and we posted the maggot picture on yelp

Newly remodeled and sparkling clean! The entire property even smelled clean! Very professional and friendly staff! Easy, quick check in! Ideally located for me, directly off of I-44. And last but not least, a wide, tasty assortment on the complimentary breakfast breakfast!

The beautiful indoor pool was open but, cold due to heating issues so, it was too cold to swim in. However, the very reasonable price coupled with excellent accomodations made the stay very worthwhile!

Location was convenient. Staff was courteous. The room was clean and our room was quiet.

The decor was a little dated. The water smelled funky. Our room did not have a smoke detector. The beds were extremely uncomfortable.

missed my reservation by 1 day (senior moment) asked if I could stay the night I showed up by not without being recharged.

The motel room had a distinct odor that you eventually blocked out.

The beds were comfortable and the linens were better than average. It is close to the interstate, McDonalds and close to old town St. James.

The carpet was dirty and gave the room that musty hotel room smell. The towels were threadbare and for a 2 queen room there was 2 bath towels. There were guests a few rooms down who had folding tables set up on the walkway outside the rooms. It was Memorial Day weekend and they were obviously ready to party. They were already rowdy when we arrived about 9pm. By 11pm the noise was over the top and we notified the front desk. By 1130 a fight broke out with drunk people yelling outside. This hotel has outside entrances so it was literally outside our door. We again notified the front desk and were assured they would take care of it, but they did not. The yelling and fighting continued for another 30 minutes to the point that we were on the verge of calling 9-1-1. Apparently someone called the police as they arrived and the party dispersed. The following morning there was again fighting and yelling. There is no way the front desk was unaware of the commotion as this is a small property. I was very disappointed that management didn't intervene before the party got out of control. My family did not feel safe staying here. If you want to appeal to a better clientele then you have to have higher standards for acceptable behavior.
