Everything was wonderful. The check in was great, the woman who checked us in was lovely and very friendly. House is beautiful. Nice sized room and bathroom. Coffee machine in room and bottles of water. They also have a vending machine and snacks downstairs for guests. Location is great. A block in from the beach/boardwalk. We will definitely be back.
Just the bed, it was firm. My husband and I didn't sleep well. But that's not the hotels fault. We have this problem everywhere we stay.

We stayed in the winter, but it's still a great place to spend time by the ocean. The hotel is very cozy as if we came to our grandmother for the weekend. Nice breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff.
In winter the price could be lower. And it's time to restore and modernize such historical hotels on my opinion.

Breakfast was great. It had a good mix of hot and cold selections and beverages. The employee in the breakfast area was friendly and replenished things promptly. We were able to walk to the beach and the shopping area. Snacks and water were provided free of charge as were chocolates. The check-in process was smooth and parking was plentiful.
We would not have changed a thing.

charm, location and staff are all exceptional
part of the charm is the building, which is also a bear to heat on all floors. the staff tried, but our room which would be perfect in any conditions other than freezing winter, was just cold.

Location is excellent, 5 min from the beach. Ocean Grove is rich in history. Ocean Plaza hotel is located on a very beautiful street lined with a row of Victorian style houses. The room was comfortable, warm and very clean.
Breakfast was good: eggs, yogurt, variety of cereals, breads, muffins, danishes, milk, cream cheese, juice, coffee, fruit...
Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We forgot AirPod in our room and got a call from Ocean Plaza hotel shortly after we checked-out. They are going to send it to our home address. It is very nice. Thank you!

We had a terrific winter holiday stay at the Ocean Plaza Hotel! The rooms were pleasant, clean and comfortable, the breakfast selections were good, varied and accommodating to several diet preferences/needs and the staff was very professional, thoughtful and helpful.
