It was a nice golf course and the room view was very nice. Sabrina was the absolute most helpful person at this hotel and her customer service skills were top notch.
The hotel was highly over priced and out dated. It was my wife’s birthday and I was told to mention that several times and the staff didn’t care. They told me to keep mentioning it and I’m not sure what we were supposed to get out of that. Upon my checkout the house keeping stole my iPhone charger the moment my wife and I left our room. I immediately questioned the house keeping in my floor and they seemed like they were lying. I believe the lady name was Cassidy who worked the front desk but she was extremely rude in how she dealt with customers over the phone by saying to me “sometime you just have to put the phone down” as she had a person mad on the phone. I stood there patiently in line to checkout and I’m standing right in front of this Cassidy lady and she ignored me for almost 15 mins only for me to checkout. The staff at the front desk wasn’t friendly. The check in wasn’t friendly as the lady handed me a piece of paper and my room key and said do you want to keep the card on file and sign this paper as we are a nonsmoking hotel. It was not welcoming at all. The hotel elevators smelled mildewed and old. I would have rather went to a Holiday in if it was going to be like this.

The room was very clean. I loved having a glass shower door and not the shower curtains. The rooms are spacious and really well designed. This time I had the opportunity to have dinner at the restaurant on site. The food was delicious. But for me what I appreciated and loved the most was the exceptional customer service from all staff. From the moment we arrived, until the moment we left, we felt welcomed and appreciated.
Loved it all.

Delicious breakfast buffet. Comfortable rooms. Beautiful decor in and around the property.
Ordered room service. Menu said smoked salmon and I received a raw, uncooked, inedible piece of cold fish. Tried returning it and ordered something else, but still charged for it. Our bathroom sink's water pressure was weak and had no hot water. Good breakfast buffet, but pricey.

The bed was comfortable. The room was clean.
Because we booked on booking.com, our reservation was not given the same attention (this was confirmed by the manager).
I was told January 5 that resort guests were able to use the spa area (steam room and sauna) because when we tried to book services, there wasn’t any available (I tried calling to book December 31, 3 weeks before our stay, but they didn’t answer and never called back-I left a voicemail).
When we arrived on December 14, the front desk checked us in but did not tell us amount any amenities/WiFi. We got to the room on the 3rd floor, right next to the elevator and overlooking the roof and exhaust from the kitchen. Breakfast was not included even though they charge you for each person (the reservation was for 3 people). I had asked for extra towels. We had one set of toiletries and 3 wash clothes, 3 towels, 3 hand towels, 2 bottles of water, and 1 regular coffee. Why charge for 3 people if you don’t accommodate for 3 people?
we went to the spa, the supervisor was shocked that I had been told that we could use the spa area. After some research, the policy had changed the Monday before our weekend stay, yet she failed to communicate the change to the resort front desk.
In January, there were no amenities that one would choose to use at this Resort and Spa.
For my 42nd birthday, my girlfriends and I learned how to play shuffleboard-the game room which is just a cafe with 2 pool tables and shuffleboard was the highlight of our stay.
One restaurant, one lobby bar, and no amenities. Go somewhere else for $400/night. I will never go back. (I live in the Piedmont, and this hotel has has been described as the most high end hotel in the area. I have gotten way better service at the Hilton, Marriot, and Double Tree).
If they want my to be a resort and spa, the hotel guests should be able to book a spa treatment and utilize the spa.
I complained, and was able to get 20% of my stay and breakfast for the next day. Still not worth it.

The dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Top quality staff and food. We loved eating at the Hotel. We were given a free breakfast by the front desk and the breakfast was delicious.
I didn't like the fact that we could've saved a lot of money if we would've booked direct and not through Booking.com. We went to Furnitureland South and the Hotel has a deal if you go there. Book direct and you get a better price and a free breakfast!
