Breakfast was delicious. We like the fact that you could have breakfast delivered to the room.
The room had a nice patio deck to sit out on.

Exceeded expectations, the owners were SO nice and helpful....room was amazing as well as were the breakfasts each morning. Would absolutely recommend and looking forward to returning. Also, great location, could walk everywhere in town and the breakers about a 5-10 minute drive.

Everything. The Inn is in a great location so we were able to walk to pretty much everything during our stay. It is well-furnished in a classic federalist style and feels very peaceful. The owners took great care of us during our stay and I would recommend staying here to anyone. 10/10 will return!

This is a beautiful Inn with a perfect location. Mike and Heather really did think of everything. The treats and water left in the room at check in, and the breakfast each morning were amazing.
The improvement I could recommend is new mattress on the bed. The bed was very loud just getting in and out of bed, and the mattress has definitely seen better days.

Breakfast was delicious. Everything about the B&B was well thought out. The owner’s recommendations for activities and dining options were fabulous. We are so glad we stayed here.

Surprised my mom for her birthday/Mother’s Day and I’m so happy I booked at Samuel Durfee House. The hosts (Heather and Michael) were so pleasant and made us feel at home, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was nothing but the best. The breakfasts were delicious and came with so many options. Even had afternoon refreshments waiting at our door! It was a great location and an easy walk to downtown Newport. I will definitely be back!!
