Absolutely nothing. I felt unsafe.

I hated the property. I didn’t feel safe. No front desk. I didn’t stay. I booked for a non-smoking, and the lady I finally got ahold of over the phone while standing at the property told me she only had smoking. I requested a refund then. Still waiting. This place really is shady though.

Outside curb appeal is ok.

Beds are really uncomfortable and are camping style beds, pictures on website are taken with a bedskirt. Rooms dont smell the greatest. No one is ever around at night when there is problems with keys, have to call a phone number on wall then woman comes out all grumpy.

A roof over my head.

Housekeeping doesn't know how to clean, dogs pee on floors and know one wants to clean. Got new manager and all I see is it getting worse daily!!

No breakfast.

The price is great and the facility is located very conveniently between Ankeny and Des Moines (one exit north of the I35 and 80 interchange).

This is a long-term stay facility and they really are not geared to be a hotel. If you arrive late the desk isn't open and getting a hold of the onsite manager is confusing (different phone numbers all over the place). They had very confusing extra agreements about garbage that really don't apply to overnight guests -- yet you need to sign them. The cleanliness was a mixed bag -- while much of the room was clean there was hair on the bed sheets (not cover - the sheets). That said -- we bring our own sheets for just such a contingency so the room was a real bargain and it was just a very annoying check-in process.
