Well appointed living space for visiting the island.
Knowledgeable and friendly hosts. Outside lanai for meals with resident gecko. Comfortable bed , great shower and kitchenette where we cooked some breakfasts and heated up takeout dinners. Complementary coffee pods and Mauna Lua chocolates were greatly appreciated. Large cooler and beach chairs were available and used daily. Short walk to Oceanside park for sunsets

Perfect for family of 4
The owners were very hospitable! The apt was clean and was perfect for our 3 night stay. A/C and a stand fan were a huge plus!

The property itself was okay.

The property does not have good sound proofing. It was noisy and we could hear foot steps, TV, and whatever was going on upstairs.

Fine and unexpected
Wanted a property at this price point in the general area. It was close to places we wanted to see and it was comfortable. The owners were kind.
It’s not clear that the owners are on premise, and admittedly, this may not be an issue for some. Though we travel extensively and commonly rent through online sites and this is the first we’ve run into this situation. There is a separate entrance but know you’re staying in the owner’s basement apartment while they are upstairs.

Perfect for 2 people with a rental car
The accomodation was beautifully furnished and a lot of amenities were included (body boards, beach towels, snorkeling gear, chairs.....). The whole apartment ist closed of from the rest of the house, with a separate parking lot and a little terrace. A fully equipped kitchen can be used.
The house was sometimes a little noisy in the evening.

A great place to stay for a few days
I strongly recommend this place - a lovely apartment owned by very friendly and helpful people. In reality, the room looks much better than on the photos! The location is convenient to visit the national park and the eastern part of Big Island.
