The host was super nice and welcoming. He gave great tips for restaurants and he was very flexibel with the check-in and check-out times. The location was perfect. Everything was within a walking distance, from old town to the casino even. There is a street behind the apartment with restaurants and they are all super super nice, you should definitely go there!

The owner Paulo met us at apartment - very friendly! room was bright and cheery and renovated. having balcony with table and drying rack was a plus. fan and screen kept us cool on hot nights. centrally located just a couple blocks from ocean and one block from a park and street with tons of restaurants.

I loved it all! let my staircase up which was fine for us but FYI.

Paulo was a very gracious host in all ways. The place was super clean, well designed and in a wonderful part of the town.

Difficult to find

It is our second time at the apartment and, as always, it was simply perfect. The host is very professional and welcoming. He arrived just within a few minutes after receiving a call from us that we were there. Bed was very comfortable and the sheets always perfectly clean. The lady who came to clean is extremely nice and the apartment is cleaned every 2nd/3rd day. We will be back next year.

We loved everything about this place, from the communication before arrival, coordination of car hire and airport transfers for us, recommendations and informations, and checkout info, it was great. The room was plenty big for two people who had lots of luggage with them. We were able to make our own breakfast and lunch everyday as we left before 7 most mornings, there was a fridge, freezer, cupboards, utensils, cooker, everything!. We could even of made dinner... but who wants to do that on holidays or after 20km of hiking! We were 1min from main streets and marina. 1min from parking/coffee/atm/convenient stores. If we ever return to Madeira we will stay again or recommend to friends.

The apartment was in a great location , right next to the old town , in the midst of restaurants yet quiet at night . The studio had everything we needed .Lots of hot water , TV , A large wardrobe with lots of hangers . The bed was large , clean and comfortable and we even got a clean and fresh towels after two days . Paulo was really helpful , we were delayed and arrived late in the evening and he took it all in his stride . The apartment was fabulous , great value for money and we would stay there again next time we visit Funchal .

Excellent location in the town centre close to a lovely park, shops, bars, cafes, the marina, restaurants etc etc. Comfortable, clean accommodation. Paulo, the host, was most welcoming and gave us excellent advice.

The stairs were only problem not good for mobility issues but such a great overall place.

It is in the center of the town. Everything is accessible from the apartment very easily. The room is all I needed for my stay. It was well equipped, clean and relatively calm.

The noise isolation from the neighbours could be better. The room wasn't the same shown on the advertising, but that wasn't as big an issue.

The apartment was lovely, clean and the kitchen contains everything you need. It is well situated within walking distance to the city center, restaurants, and shops. Paolo was very helpful and you can contact him any time via WhatsApp if you needed something. It’s a great location and I highly recommended it!

Location is superb, walking distance essentially everywhere in the city. The host is very nice - gave us tips on what to see & do and even book us a jeep trip on Porto Santo. The appartment itself is pretty, clean, the kitchen contains everything you need, has a good wifi.

Having been to Madeira before, we knew that the location was very central. Great restaurants within 5 mins walk away. Towels were changed twice during the week & the accommodation was cleaned. We had a small kitchen area which proved ideal. Our friends didn’t & so we had breakfast together. Having the small kitchen area was definitely a bonus.

Sãu Pedro Boutique was a really lovely place to stay. When Paulo introduced us to the apartment he shared really helpful information that complimented the thorough handbook that he provided. The apartment was absolutely spotless and received daily cleaning. The location was absolutely perfect for us - close to a lovely public garden, away from the busyness of the main tourist area in Funchal and away from the main hotel district yet 5 mins walk from a supermarket (La Vie / Pingo Doce) as well as other restaurants, cafes and bakeries. It was easy for us to cook our own dinners when we wanted to. Would absolutely recommend and would be keen to stay again.
