This home to us for the last 2 week was the most AMAZING and gorgeous place to stay! Everything from our first contact with Dermot to the very last day was first class! Dermot was very quick to respond to our texts and recommended great places to visit. The house itself was also 5 star!!! The home was very clean, updated and so very quiet. And the view... Heaven on earth! If you have the chance to visit Ireland this is the place to stay! Thank you Dermot!

Amazing holiday home with outstanding views and easy excess to the beach which is just at the bottom of the garden. This Holiday home was extremely high end with everything you could possibly need, the beds were very comfortable and the house was spotlessly clean. The host dermot, was very helpful and welcoming and without being intrusive was readily available with any queries. We would love to return to this beautiful house.

Amazing home which has everything you need ad more - plus the most gorgeous views over the Shannon. Relaxing week watching the tides, playing golf and visiting family. Lovely walks on the beach and even a swim in the sea.

The house was spacious, the kitchen was large and well equipped. The whole place was clean and even more beautiful than the listing suggested. It literally took a minute to walk to the beach, and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. I would absolutely recommend Dolphin cottage to a family or small group and would happily stay there again!

Everything about Dolphin Cottage suited us.
The spacious of the house with its views and its immediate access to the beach meant that it was such an incredibly relaxing place to be. The house itself was stocked with everything you would need for a very easy and comfortable week away from home. All of our communications with the property were dealt with promptly and Dermot made sure that we were very well looked after.
It was an absolute pleasure to stay in Dolphin Cottage and we look forward to returning there again next year - already booked!

Our stay here was exceptional. Dermot was very responsive and helpful. All 8 of us that stayed in the home were so pleased. The home is beautifully private and tucked away, but only minutes from Ballybunion and Listowel and many lovely sights. This is by far the nicest home we have booked on VRBO.

Peaceful - this property is some 10 kilometers from Ballybunion & location is so much better!
Loved the kitchen, with picture window to the lawn & beach just beyond, which was so quiet that it was almost our own 'private' beach.
Garden & grounds were immaculate.

We had a lovely stay at Dolphin Cottage. We watched horses on the beach, traveled Conner's Pass (SleaHead too) and took a marine tour to the Blasket Islands where we watched seals, dolphins and Minke whales. We had a lovely dinner at Danno's before stopping in the Dingle pubs for live music. Thank you Dermot for hosting us!

Our family of 5 had the most amazing time at this gorgeous house overlooking, and just a few steps down to, Littor Strand. The view onto the beach and across to Co Clare was stunning. We even spotted dolphins swimming by a couple of mornings. It was just the secluded break away our family needed after a hectic relocation back from living in the USA.
The house has everything one could need including beach towels and toys, a BBQ, fire pit and provided logs. Nearby Astee has a small grocery store for any essentials and Ballybunion has a good Super Valu with an even bigger one in Listowel.
Dolphin cottage has the best of both worlds: total seclusion at the house yet there is still plenty to do within a very short drive… golfing and surfing in Ballybunion, a trip into the literary town of Listowel, a visit to Carrigfoyle castle or a ferry ride from Tarbert across to Clare for a drive out around Loop Head, or you could comfortably get to the Cliffs of Moher and back in a day too. A visit further west is another great day trip to visit Castlegregory, Brandon point and/or Dingle. There is so much to do.. if you can pull yourself away from the serenity of the house!

Amazing house and locations, we had a perfect family Christmas by the sea with our children, everything was thought of in the house and we could not have asked for better communication and help from Dermot.
We had a whole range of weather during our stay, including storm Bella and the house was so comfortable and warm, a very well designed house, no expense has been spared.

Sunshine by the Sea
We had a wonderful week at Dolphin cottage, the views are stunning and the house and surrounds make for an incredibly relaxing time. Great sized bedrooms, 3 of them en-suite, beautiful views in every room, especially the kitchen. The house is extremely well furnished and well kept.
The kids loved running down onto the beach from the house, the beach is long and quiet- perfect for walks.
Day trips to Dingle and all the many sights and beaches make Dolphin cottage a real gem.

House is a real gem. Beautifully done. All rooms have high spec finish. Lovely garden with amazing views. Very clean and modern. Everything needed to cater for adults and kids. En suites and bathrooms very clean, fresh and modern. Overall we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend. Great job Dermot.

Beautifully presented with everything you could possibly need for a holiday. Lovely location with views of the Shannon. Stunning beach for walks. Plenty to see and do in the area. Very friendly but unobtrusive host who ensured we were ok. Lovely welcome and welcome pack.

Amazing Views
The beautiful views from the Dolphin Cottage change every day. We loved watching the tidal changes from almost every room in the house. The cottage is very well appointed, spacious, comfortable, peaceful, and private. Dermot made us feel welcome and checked in on us during our stay. Many western Ireland historic and cultural sites are an easy day trip. We hope to one day return to the Dolphin cottage.
