Ce magnifique appartement Marigny au deuxième étage est parfait - proche de tout, juste à côté de la ligne de tramway Rampart, près de St. Les clubs Claude Avenue et Frenchmen Street, Bourbon et le quartier. Nous accueillons les familles et les parties jusqu'à 6. Il y a une cuisine complète, un endroit pour se détendre et se regrouper et une grande cour arrière à l'espace extérieur et les fumeurs. Le meilleur de tous, Artisan Café est juste en bas.

Perfect little place for 2 couples that wanted to enjoy mardi gras. Very clean! We also had brand new bath towels! The owner is so sweet and friendly! Everything was walkable (took like 30 mins to go to Bourbon st) the food at the artisian is so good! There's only 3 things about this spot that you might need to know. #1 The street it is on is busy and can get loud with the cars going by and honking and sirens going off. #2 if you are the type of person that needs a fan to sleep, bring one. #3 since this is an old building, the doors don't close properly. **besides the front door** so there's a little privacy problem.
I would definitely come back to this place when I come back to Nola!

Property was clean, secure, and quiet. Cafe downstairs had good food. We walked to the quarter from this location. Would stay here again.

Love the old feel of this apartment, the little porch on front was cute. However with the money they must make could use a little TLC and it would’ve been perfect.

We loved everything about this property! Getting in and checking out were super easy, everything was as described and comfortable, and our host was always quick to answer any questions! And while we didn't go to the cafe downstairs ourselves, it looked like they has excellent food and drinks! The only note I would give is that the music from the cafe can be heard at night - nothing a little white noise in my headphones couldn't drown out, and it probably won't bother you at all if you are planning on spending the night out on the town, but if you are a light sleeper it might be a problem.

We loved the location, the cafe downstairs, roomy two bedrooms and foldout couch, apartment, and great location. The street is noisy at times. Loved the porch for reading.

Property felt unsafe. Drug deals occurred in attached parking lot. Windows dont fully close due to rust and one was broken out. Drag racing on the street below at 230 am. No spoons. Sheets were worn and rough (i have pics).
Not at all faint of heart travelers. First responder from large city and would not recommend

Very spacious and clean. Host was very communicative and the neighboring property very friendly. Finding street parking in the area can be a little challenging, but once secure, I had no issues. Thanks for a nice stay.

The apartment was great, and the location was really good with great restaurants and close to the Quarter and Frenchman. Would love to give this five stars but a few things didn’t really work correctly. The water pressure was very low, also with just a few upgrades it could be a fantastic property. Door knob fell off to the bedroom, there was very little artwork to decorate the walls and it was generally very utilitarian! The owner was great and the staff at the bar were awesome!

Hosts in relatively quiet bar downstairs friendly. On a good bus line. Only critique: Could use better kitchen equipment.

For anyone not familiar with New Orleans (or more particularly this immediate neighborhood) should go elsewhere. I’m Very Familiar w NOLA and had been thru Marigny- just not this hood. When I booked and then spoke on the phone w the property manager “Dave”, I directly asked if there was parking: he said yes. There is only street parking - and not easy to get nearby; He Lied. The neighborhood is not what I would generally call safe. There was so much police action going on around us every time we were arriving or leaving, and the sirens. There was no trouble at the place we stayed (and it was a quaint bar) w apts upstairs. The rental itself was Bohemian and darling although half the lights didn’t work and the shower had barely any water pressure. The AC was fantastic! We met the owner Veronica on the last day sweeping the walkway: what a kind and wonderful older woman. She addressed all our concerns and was explanatory about the age of the building etc. She was angry that the man managing the VROB for her continued to lie about parking as he’d done it before.
Would I stay there again: No.
But it really is a charming Old New Orleans experience (on the inside)

I really would've loved to write a positive review, but feel I have a responsibility to give all of the facts and let people make an informed decision.
The Good... the location is good and the bartenders at the cafe/bar below the apartment are very friendly and accommodating. A/C is very powerful.
The Bad... apartment is not well maintained. Doorknobs feel off in our hand, lights and lamps don't work, water pressure in shower is very, very bad, cockroach was friendly, but unwelcome visitor, it's also super noisy on St Claude Ave at night... vehicles drag racing and playing music so loud it literally shook every window in the place, etc
The ugly...I love unique properties and would gladly choose charm and personality over looks and neatness, but this was too much. It is more like staying at a boy's apartment in college than it appears online.
Great people, but need to give place some TLC.

Bar staff was lovely and very welcoming when we got there, and gave us waters for the road. We were just needing somewhere to crash for the night, so it was perfect. Not the greatest area surrounding the place, but it is in New Orleans, so take that with a grain of salt,
