Best owner of all Sri Lanka’s hotels we were living at

We stayed with three kids in Eagle Homestay and enjoyed it the whole period. The owner family lives on the second floor and was helpful in any questions we had. Every day they cleaned the house and were very friendly. We really loved to stay here and would come again.

It was a very nice flat, with a lot of space and a also very nice garden, where our son played a lot, because of all the plants there's a lot of shade. Well equipped kitchen aswell. The host and his wife where amazing. They helped us with every issue. Just a few minutes by foot there was a small, quiet beach with not that big waves perfect for kids. We really qppreciated our stay here and we can highly recommend this place especially for families.

Great place, hot water, a/c, very clean, nice kitchen with lots of equipment. Best thing about this place is the host, who is super nice and made us feel very welcome and made sure we have everything we need.

The owner was very helpful. It was very peaceful and very near a small beach with a couple of very good and cheap restaurants

The only way the place could be improved would be to have an outside sitting area with table and chairs and to cut back the garden to let in some sun.

5 min walk into town and short walk to a couple of small beaches at end of the street. Our family stayed 4 nights - plenty of good day trips around Tangalle to keep us entertained (rock temple, big Buddha, surfing at hirikeya, tuk tuk trips to some quiet local beaches). Also enjoyed having a kitchen and laundry after 2 weeks in guesthouses. exceptionally clean.

Check in wasn’t great. Previous guests had requested a late checkout and villa wasn’t ready until 5pm.
