Sadly disappointing

Great breakfast. Comfy beds. Friendly staff

Large silverfish crawling around the floor. Hairdryer fire hazard. Stayed here to avoid the terrible reviews from the Ramada, paid double , but still had terrible experience of silverfish in room.

Okay, but not amazing.

I was in town visiting friends who live in Dudley. We were going out to a party in West Bromwich. This hotel was in the perfect location for both of those places. Liked that there was free parking too. I had dinner there (bacon & chicken salad) and it was better than I’d expected. The chicken looked a bit pale, but overall good portion size and a very filling and tasty salad. Breakfast the next day was okay. Quite bland/basic but it did the job. I liked the vending machine - handy for a cheeky little snack.

The decor was cute but did feel a bit cheap. I guess that’s what to expect with a budget hotel. The bathroom (especially the skirting by the shower) could’ve been cleaner. It was quite yucky. Also, didn’t enjoy the fact there was a couple of coaches full of visitors staying in the hotel so the bar/restaurant was very busy in the evening. Even saw a man walking around bare foot. It just didn’t feel very pleasant. Also one of the coach drivers blocked the car park entrance!

Decent room but slightly over priced

Main receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. Room was clean and bed very big. Breakfast was ok.

Very little to no storage in the room, considering the price paid and location it was overpriced. Breakfast on our first morning was great but second morning very over cooked/burnt. Toast was either warm bread or burnt to a cinder!

Not impressed

The bed was comfy, and the black out curtains were good.... oh and the staff were all friendly.

However....everything was so poor quality, the toilet roll was awful, there was mould growing on the wall. I turned the tap on carefully but it sprayed all over my outfit which I was wearing to go out in. The bathroom is awful! The door doesn't open properly. The room was quite grotty, lots of bits all over the floor. One of the pictures was smashed in the bathroom which is dangerous. The choice for breakfast was good, but the sausages were inedible! Totally gross! Sadly all of this has put me off ibis hotels in the future

Great stay

Staff are always so welcoming. Rooms are excellent and the beds are so comfy. Highly recommend.

Don't expect to hang clothes.

The friendly bar/reception guys.Great to have a dolce gusto but to only give u 1 pod each and 1 creamer between the 2 is not enough.

No wardrobe,No draws,No plastic glasses for the bathroom for teethe rinsing etc No where to put your wash things in the shower.Had to move kettle and dolce gusto to use as no sockets near where they were,so had to have on desk.No mirror at the desk for a lady to dry her hair or put make up on.We went out on Saturday morning to get a few things n were back within an hr.To find one of house cleaning was charging her phone with my charger.She apologised etc but not the point.Coffee and dolce gusto pods weren't replaced for the 2nd day.I asked house keeping and was given 1 each.Not good enough.Stains on one of the chairs.

Hotel is far from Birmingham central, about 25 minutes by car.

Superb!

Location and hotel were excellent but more importantly the staff were attentive and welcoming. Buffet breakfast was so so good and plentiful. Would definitely stay again.

Great and good value.

The breakfast was quite nice and diverse. We liked the room although it was small, it was clean and had what we needed. The rest of the facilities were also great.

The bed was a bit hard for me but I guess that is preference. Everything else was fine and we enjoyed our stay. It was located close to our event.
