In general good value. We were given room at the end of doorway
Sound insulation of room: both door to doorway and door to next room could literally be seen through - light came through and so did noise.
We missed one towel set, extra blanket and the blanket in the room was not 2 person width. Friendly staff corrected the mistake.

Room is very big and view from balcony is wonderful and staff is very king specially receptionist Mr Hussain.

We liked the helpful staff Ravan, Kenan, Hussain & lady chef from their kitchen don't remember the name.
Limited choice of breakfast not suitable for Indian meals. Limited features in the room for the money paid. It's on the outskirts of Baku. so we had to travel by bus though it's convenient and cheaper to travel but takes 40 minutes one way to reach the centre.

I have nothing good to say about hotel. Location is ok as at least there are couple of nice fish restaurants in a walking distance
This is the worst hotel I ever been. I have no idea how it can have 5 stars as it even does not deserve 3 stars.
The information about the hotel on booking.com is not true. One of the reasons I booked this place is nice pics of the gym but it was not working and we were told that it works only in winter!
Breakfast starts at 9 am (I wake up at 6-7 and need my breakfast not later than 8 am as in other hotels around the world). The restaurant with breakfast does not belong to the hotel and they do not care about their guests. We stayed for 6 nights and every day we had the same set menu. You could only chose eggs. No coffee. 50% of breakfast was jams, honey, nutella, condensed milk. No sausages. Bread was not fresh. Some dishes were not cooked properly. Waiters were rude when we asked for teaspoons for jams as if it was something outstanding and not their job. At the begging of our stay we asked to give us take away breakfast at 8.30 am as we had a tour. The manager promised it but we did not get anything at all.
Pools and beach also do not belong to the hotel and have weird rules. On the first date when it was just a light wind and no waves we were told that the beach is closed. Nightmare - they just do not want to work. I came to the resort but there are no proper facilities.
Room facilities are old, towels look like 20 years old and some of them had holes. One day after room cleaning the toilet paper disappeared from the bathroom.
We managed to find the general manager of the hotel to raise the complaints, but the GM is 25 years boy with no hotel experience and no influence on the staff. So this is officially the worst hotel experience I ever had after i travelled to 30 countries and stayed in over 100 hotels around the world.

Nothing there was to like except the room and terrace
it was more like a wedding hall with additional hotel stay facility , loud music and events starts at 10 remains active till mid night ending with horrible fireworks of wedding ending , you simply cant sleep . Pool closes at 6 pm before which you cant go to the pool in scorching heat . Gym is not for room guests don't know for whom it is . Coffee is not complimentary in breakfast . Staff except Mr Vagif is non cooperative rude and doesn't understand English properly . Hotel is badly under staffed and Vagif is bell boy , server house keeping and everything . Claiming to be 5 stars its not even 3 . Highly not recommended
