The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It's located very near a the road to Nicoya and Santa Cruz. The room was very clean and everything worked fine.

The mattress felt uncomfortable, the room had no A/C, the shower did not have hot water. Even though I understand they were not mentioned in the lodging's features, these are things you expect to have, so maybe say they're services not included.

A great “real Tico” homestay; loved the morning tour of the compound by Shirley’s husband - a literal self-sustaining ecosystem with chickens, fish farm, multiple fruit trees.

Took much time and effort to find the place. Needs some signage on main road. No a/c but a noisy working fan.

Poor communication. They were not willing to take responsibility for their error, blaming it on my late confirmation and "a problem with the app". Because of this, they gave our room away. They communicated this error when I was on the plane and left us with no suitable options since it was nearly 10pm when we landed. My family (my husband, toddler and pregnant me) wanted a place to rest after a full day of travel. Disappointing

- the parking is a bit small compared to the amount of cars - kitchen facilities could use an update - our door for the room was a bit broken, but we didnt mind it felt still safe to sleep and comfortable

way too many roosters! they started crowing at 2am, if you are a light sleeper like me, make sure to bring ear plugs.

The price vs quality, perfect, just what we needed for 1 night stay on our travels through peninsula Nicoya, hot water, secure parking, normally we do not care about the TV in the room as we just don't watch it, but as a tennis fan it was nice to be able to watch the Wimbledon final before we hit the road again 😁

It was dark when we came and the gate was closed and there was no bell to ring, if we had no CR number I am not sure how long it would take us to let the owners know we arrived, but as we were able to make the call, we had no issues. Just saying for the sake of other travellers 😉
