It was a little colder than we expected but once we told our host she provided a heater which made a huge difference. Our host was very pleasant and peroable she was always around so easy to contact.

The apartment is in what felt like a safe neighborhood and pretty close to Carolina Park, which is lovely. The area is quiet and there are plenty of places to eat, buy food and a laundry not too far away (5 min walk). The host, Maria-elena is really kind and friendly. She speaks perfect English and is always available to help if you need anything. It's a big space with a comfy bed. It can get a bit cold in the apartment, but there were plenty of blankets to keep us warm at night. The kitchen is well equipped and has a 4 burner stove. A bit more cutlery and bowls/dishes would be welcomed. The internet is reliable and a good enough speed to be able to work online without any issues. If you want to do a trip somewhere then Jose is a really good guy to go with.

Getting hot water in the shower was a bit of an issue.

Maria Elena the host is terrific, respectful and friendly. I really enjoyed meeting her. There were no problems so I can't say how she would have responded. The kitchen facilities are complete: stove, oven and microwave. Maria Elena la anfitriona es excelente, respetuosa y amable. Me gustó mucho encontrarla. No había problemas asi que no puedo decir como hubiera respondido. La cocina está completa: cocinera, horno, microondas.

The windows do not open, so you must place the fan in the main door to get fresh air in the apartment. Las ventanas no abren, asi que se debe poner el ventilador en la puerta principal a conseguir aire fresca en el departamento.
