Was told not to come room not available, of which I have message on my cell phone. This message included a vast number of vulgarities and the lady sounded absolutely insane. But was charged anyway. Out of curiosity the next day I went and drove by property. It was a trailer in someone's back yard.

Kathleen had just had a very stressful personal circumstance, but still kindly took time to accommodate my particular needs. She was great. I look forward to staying there again in the future.
Everyting was great

Nothing really. I would never stay here again.
I didn't feel safe. The host told a number of stories suggesting the house was in an unsafe location - people walking in and taking things, her dog being held for ransom... I didn't trust anything she said. Room didn't have a way to lock from inside. Bathroom was actually the laundry room. Kitchen was filthy with dried on food on the counter, no available clean dishes and the invitation to "help yourself to whatever you can find" which was a bag of cereal on the counter.

Loved it all! Kathleen and Lola were very welcoming and I felt at home from the minute I arrived. Kathleen is an excellent hostess and made the best omlette one morning (offered sourdough pancakes and other breakfast items on other days but I had plans to go out for breakfast). Very much loved the conversations with this beautiful soul Kathleen!

Basement suite with separate entrance. Nice large kitchen/sitting area. Esoteric decor.
Kitchen was stocked with left overs presumably from previous guests, so of which passed the best before date. K cup coffee pods available but no kcup machine. Two jars of breakfast cereal but only regular milk. Owner also provided a frozen loaf of Irish Soda bread. Had to go to McDonalds for breakfast. Bathroom appeared to be DIY, poorly tiled etc.

It was a great experience
No TV in the bed room but not a big deal

Centrally located and wonderfully bliss comfortable bed, got a great night of rest 🙂
The phone number listed with Booking.Com was not valid so was difficult to ask questions. She did provide a cellphone number in a welcome text message which enabled communication so turn out fine.

Kathleen is a great host! This is a convenient location for everything I needed to do during my visit. I stayed in the caravan & lower level room, both felt inviting & comfortable. My cat was truly welcomed & it meant a lot to me. It’s always hard to find a pet friendly B & B or hotel - this was the perfect place for both of us!
Wish I could’ve stayed longer, I loved it here!😁

I arrived at 9pm and left the next morning at 6am. The accommodation was clean and the host was helpful. Cute little dog was very friendly. My bedroom and bathroom were ideal - I would return here.

It was a motor home, not a room or apartment. The “breakfast” was a frozen, package sandwich. There were no filters for coffee. The coffee was in a cupboard with dog food. The blinds were broken so it never got even remotely dark for sleeping. The air conditioning didn’t work so the windows had to be open… lots of street noises. The bathroom couldn’t have toilet paper put down the system, so you had to put your soiled toilet paper in the trash can. Broken floor tiles… Not what I would have expected for almost $200 a night. It was misrepresented on the site.

The location was great. The host was very accommodating and helpful. And the dog was very friendly. Also there are several options for accommodations at this bed and breakfast they have a full basement apartment, RV, a little shed that's been made into a small apartment and a guest room, where I stayed.
The bed had feather pillows which I'm allergic to and was too soft. I needed a more firm bed for my back, but for one night it was okay. Also the host has a bit of a potty mouth, it didn't bother me, but it might be an issue for other people

The owner was super nice and made me a very good omelet for breakfast.
It wasn’t in a very good neighborhood, not very clean. It was just a bedroom in a ladies private house. I had to go upstairs to my room and back down the stairs every time I went to the bathroom.

The host lady, Kathleen, is a kind person with big personality. This tall and pretty New Yorker embarked on the adventure of her life 50 years ago and hence dedicated her youth and heart to this land and its people. She gained and lost, but never was she afraid to love and trust and she still is. She put herself out there and becomes a part of the Alaskan history. She is lively and talkative and she shared a lot with me about this land and its people. She is very truthful and could be a little salty sometime and that make her the most lovable.
And she is very nice and hospitable, a lot of things can prove during my short stay and i ma share 2:
1. I didnt check my message in booking and didnt see her message prior to my arrival. I didnt give her my check in time. But when I called her, she drove back from the her birthday celebration party immediately to check me in.
2. at my checkout day, I need to catch the early train in morning so we agreed on I leaving the key at room without waking her up cuz she is used to wake up late. But my rental car's battery died that morning and due to lack of experience, I didnt know how to handle that. She got up after hearing my noise and went out helping me in that -10 F weather and eventually helped me got on train in time.
Besides that, this place is very cozy and is of best location(close to every where). All kinds of drinks are offered for free. Lola the cute western terrier is very smart and loves to play with me.
All in all, in my opinion, it takes a big heart to welcome strangers to your home and live with you. And thats what she is.

This little place is so cute! From the time I drove in the driveway until I left, it felt like home. Kathleen is a great hostess!! She had the apartment stocked with food and snacks. The neighborhood is very quiet and comfortable. It is centrally located and very easy to get to. I will definitely stay there again! Thank you Kathleen!!

Comfortable bed and not too far from downtown
I was not expecting to be staying in the owners
house as thought I was staying in a self
contained apartment with its own en suit.

Kathleen was an exceptional hostess! I so enjoyed meeting her dog Lola which I became fast friends with. From the minute I arrived, I felt like we all “3” had known each other our whole lives. And, I left with home grown tomatoes from her friend/handyman, Joe!!!
That I couldn’t stay longer…

Nothing.
I came in late after having a mechanical
Issue on the HWY coming into Fairbanks. It was around 11:30. While talking to my dad on the phone sitting on the couch I got a call from the owner saying, “I can hear your BIG LOUD MOUTH up here, what did you do GO GET DRUNK AND BRING A GIRL HOME, you got a great deal on that room it’s beautiful, you need to be quiet!” I was flabbergasted. I tried to apologize but she cut me off while yelling at me. I’m a married man and this was ludicrous. Very odd behavior. I’ll never go back and advise anyone not to go back.
