Beautifull house! Its like froozen in time with all the amenities of the modern area. Besides its super peacefull. The staff was super friendly

The hotel is located within a private club with a golf course, and the rooms were tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable. The heated pool is lovely, and there is a convenient coffee shop right in the lobby. There's ample free parking space, and we enjoyed free access to the nearby sister hotel, Sandpearl, on Clearwater beach.

The hotel was understaffed, especially on the day we checked out. It was January 1st, and the woman managing the front desk at check out time was also on duty at the coffee shop. Apparently one of the staff had suddenly quit. But, it was a fiasco. The Sports Shop had mistakenly charged about $600 in golf supplies to our room; my husband went to the shop to ask what had happened, and they said someone had mistakenly signed their bill to our room. Don't they check the name and room number??? They said that the charge would be removed from our room bill. But when we were checking out shortly after that, the woman at the front desk said we couldn't get a final bill reflecting the reversed charges. She said we had to go to the shop again to get a reimbursement receipt, even though we were in a hurry to check out. So, why did they insist we had to go back to the shop again? In the end, the manager (who was on her second day at the job) came out and helped sort out our bill. But, it was a lot of frustration that cast a shadow over our otherwise pleasant stay.

It was great! The croissants were delicious. I do wish they gave more options for jelly, or maybe honey.

The lighting in the room was a little less than expected, especially the bathroom.

It was very nice. I own several apartment buildings as well as several vacation resorts and I move from property to property evaluating each property.

Beautiful charming place to stay. Private and right around the corner from the beach. Clean. Staff was amazing! Especially Lisa! Cute baskets for breakfast.

Only thing I didnt like was the coffee served in the rooms. But it wasnt hard to run down to the cafe in the lobby and grab a fresh one!

Fabulous property, absolutely stunning historic building, in perfect renovated condition. We had an upgrade to a beautiful suite on the 4th floor with views across the pool to the sea and Clearwater. Room spotless, linens high quality etc. We knew before we booked there are no restaurants just a coffee bar but there is a restaurant at the adjacent Belleair Country Club where we ate twice which was nice. You can also go to the sister hotel The Sandpearl a 10 minute drive away with nice restaurants and beach. Breakfast in a basket delivered to your door was a nice touch and the croissant was delicious. Special mention to lovely gatehouse staff. Gorgeous pool and jacuzzi with comfy cushioned sunbeds. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Small niggles which I am only adding so any future guests won’t be disappointed and know what to expect. Housekeeping late in the day, twice we went out at 8am and returned at 3.30/4 ready to yshower etc to find the room hadn’t been prepared. No robes which surprised us at a hotel of this calibre especially in a suite, not usually a problem except we were travelling around Florida and hadn’t packed them as other hotels we were staying at did have them. No glasses for the bar or cleaning teeth in the room however there was lots of ice available so we just had to reuse plastic glasses from the coffee shop. Pool although lovely, and def not enough to stop us using it, was not spotlessly clean. External Pool man came while we were there with all the nets etc and went in the pool shed but didn’t actually look into the pool to see or use his net to pick up dead leaves on the pool and clean around the tiles etc. On asking another member of staff came to remove leaves. Not hotels fault as he just didn’t do his job properly.
