Hotel Yvette

Location. Walkable to centro. We got to take advantage of the free breakfast buffet one morning , but were a little disappointed that the coffee was INSTANT COFFEE! We've told a wonderful coffee in mexico I was surprised that only instant coffee was available. More than 30 years ago you would always find a jar of instant Nescafe with a plastic spoon in it and you would be served hot water. When that was offered out to buffet , it was deja vu!

The hotel was close to centro, but very disappointed that centro did not have any restaurants for dinner except snack places. I'm very familiar with México having lived here over thirty years , but I don't think I've ever spent any time in Leon. Nothing I saw makes me want to spend any more time in Leon. We did quite a bit of walking in centro and never saw any restaurants where you could sit down and have a nice meal. The hotel only provided one bottle of water for 2 people. If you wanted more water you had to buy it. We found this a little unacceptable. The pillows on the beds were the foam rubber ones that when they get old , they come apart in pieces and feel like soft lumps. Other then that, everything was fine.

La ubicación es buena, está cerca de varios puntos de interés, tiene estacionamiento abierto las 24 hrs, el personal es amable y servicial, esta en un cuarto piso lo cual lo hace muy silencioso y se puede descansar muy agusto, las persianas son completamente oscuras y la limpieza es excelente.
