Isin Gumi Homestay

Cute little cottage right on the beach! Was nice and clean, loved the little outside nook with a kitchen and day bed. Had lots of character and beautiful thought out decoration. The beach was right at our doorstep we got to sleep to the sound of the waves every night and jump right out of bed first thing of the morning to watch the sunrise, and beautiful views of Mt Agung and the sun setting behind it!

Some kind of airflow would be nice, can get a little hot and stuffy as there are no windows and the only door is the big wooden door. Maybe a fly screen on the door so you can have it open and enjoy the views without letting the mosquitos and insects in. However the mosquitos weren’t too bad during our stay, there were still a few around.

A home away from home. Very clean room located right on the beach with stunning views of Gunung Agung. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves at night is one of the best things ever. Ibu Nyoman and family are absolutely wonderful hosts. We had lovely chats on the patio laughing and talking about life. She was ever so kind to show me around Amed on her motorbike. We even visited a local vineyard and harvested local grapes - That was quite an experience! Although breakfast is not included with the room, she kindly brought delicious local breakfast for me to try. I am so grateful for her kind hospitality and am so glad I booked with Isin Gumi. I cannot wait to come back! Terima kasih banyak Ibu Nyoman and family. Sampai bertemu lagi.

L’emplacement incroyable, le propriétaire est très gentil et très serviable, absolument rien à dire !

Just everything, Nyomen and Made are so nice and the place is amazing! In front of the beach, cozy outdoor area and coffee and water at disposal. We spent a day with Nyomen showing us the Museum Pustaka Lontar to learn about balinese sanskrit and then making offerings at villa Gumibali, so grateful to have learned more about the culture and religion. Thank you for everything
