I had a nice room and the breakfast was superb. It was the second time I stayed there and both times I was welcomed warmly and made to feel very comfortable.

An outstanding place in so many ways! Chris, Allyson and the other staff were at all times extremly kind, cooperative and made everything always possible, Chris is also a wonderful (and actually trained) cook. The Guesthouse has a lovely atmosphere, with a lovely garden and swimming pool, one very quickly feels totally at home there. The rooms are spacious, and so is the bathroom, the location itself is beautiful (for a walk or a run), it is a very green residential area with large mansions and in an overall beautiful setting. It is around 10 min. by Uber to downtown Sandton (the Sandton Mall), so the action is also close by. Overall I am really grateful I found this place, where I ended up prologing my stay twice.

We had a lovely stay at Highgrove. Friendly and warm welcome, great breakfast, room suited our needs perfectly. Would not hesitate to recommend staying here!

Chris is a great host. He went out of his way to install a toilet rail for my elderly mother, which was appreciated. Food was good.

Our stay at Highgrove felt like a home away from home. The room is very comfortable with lots of space to move around. The bathroom is also very spacious. It is in a quiet residence which allowed us to have a good rest. The breakfast was exceptional. Thanks for a surprising nice stay!

Everything was absolutely perfect. Superb guest house in a quiet and safe area of Sandton. The place is very cozy and peaceful with a wonderful garden and a beautiful swimming pool. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Very nice room with a terrace overlooking the garden. A big thank you to Chris and Allison for their welcome and their help (following the theft of our smartphones). We hope to come back to see you.

The accommodation feels like a retreat from the bustle due to its location. Environment is safe and spacious, great views of the garden and the alfresco breakfast was perfect. Bed was super comfortable.

I love great showers, and this one wasn't that great. Lots of calcification around the showered means water goes in all directions. And the fitted soap dispensers need to be freshened up. But I'm nit-picking.

Lovely guesthouse, well maintained and clean. absolutely fantastic atmosphere in the garden area. The staff is amazing and always available to help.

We liked everything. The staff, the rooms, the delicious breakfasts cooked perfectly, the garden,the list goes on. Dinner could be arranged at a small extra cost which was great as sometimes one just wants to chill in the evening. Chris is the perfect host and goes above and beyond.

The staff or rather the owner Mr Chris... He warms my heart. Best service ever, caring and makes your stay extra special. The food superb! Will definitely go back.
