Numa Florence Palazzo Haggis

I liked the location - it’s close to the city center but rather quiet. The ventilation in the room is very good, even with windows closed. The bed was comfy enough. Plus, there was a coffee machine with capsules, milk, etc.

1) Mosquitoes kept appearing in the room every day, even though the windows were always closed. They seemed to be coming in through the ventilation system or another opening, possibly including the old, unused fireplace. This was very unpleasant and should be addressed by the hotel. 2) The cups and spoons were not clean when I arrived. 3) Some towels had stains on them. 4) The floors are ice-cold and yet no slippers are provided. This is not something you can find in a supermarket nearby. 5) The breakfast is terrible. The hotel partners with “Caffe Michelangelo” located 4 minutes away, and the place is really bad. There was a strong, unpleasant smell in the café, like dirty cleaning cloths and rotten food. This was off-putting and made the whole breakfast experience very unpleasant. The food itself was no good either. It didn’t look good and it didn’t taste good.

Everything about the property is amazing and the location is fantastic.

Nothing

Location great, walking distance to everywhere. Central without the noise and hustle and bustle. Instructions for check in clear. Room bigger than expected, high ceilings. Bathroom large. Shower was great. Had an antique feel but with modern facilities. Smart TV worked well connected to streaming services. We even walked there from the train station to avoid the Taxi queue - I don't recommend this with suitcases as it wasnt easy, but we managed. With just a backpack youd be totally fine. Really loved the storage lockers and kitchen downstairs, we didn't take advantage of them but fantastic options. Really impressed and comfortable.

Didn't have a tissue box. Air conditioner was a bit noisy at night. TV was too far away. A few stairs so if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage it may be a struggle.
