Wij hebben een meer dan uitstekend verblijf gehad in villa Playa in Jan Thiel. De villa voldoet meer dan aan de verwachtingen en is van alle gemakken voorzien. Wij zouden iedereen deze villa aanbevelen en zullen bij de volgende keer ook weer voor een verblijf in deze woning kiezen.

Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in Villa Solo (14 dagen), met 4 volwassenen en 2 jonge kinderen. Overal aangedacht, heerlijk zwembad, dichtbij het strand Jan Thiel, supermarkt en sportschool. Een echte aanrader als je een huisje zoekt in Curacao!

Super aanrader. Goede ontvangst, prima uitleg, tijdens verblijf communicatie goed bij afspraken en vragen. Mooie woning, heerlijk eigen zwembad :-)

Over all this house had a fantastic outdoor living space. This allowed my family to spend a significant amount of time outdoors while eating and relaxing. The owner and property manager were both extremely welcoming and helpful. The air conditioning in the rooms allowed for great night sleeps after long days in the very hot sun. The pool was the perfect temperature and when we arrived it was spotlessly clean with an additional cleaning by the pool boy during our stay. The location of the house itself was perfect. Only a five minute walk to the grocery store, which had everything we needed for our week there. The Jan Thiel beach area was such a treat to have so close to the house and our family loved being able to rent the palapas for minimal cost. The restaurants there were also very good overall. We would love to come back another time in the future and rent the other properties to enjoy with our extended family.

De villa was van alle gemakken voorzien. Perfect voor 3 stellen. Ruime schone kamers, allen met airco. We vonden de indeling van de villa ideaal, met genoeg plekjes om te genieten van de zon, om even een boekje te lezen, wat te werken, of gezamenlijk te eten. Ook de locatie van de villa is perfect. Leuke prettige buurt, op loopafstand van Jan Thiel Beach (met ook een Albert Heijn, een spa, en meer). Ook de communicatie met de beheerster van de villa en met Axel was heel soepel. Ze waren goed bereikbaar voor vragen. Al met al erg genoten van ons verblijf en we zouden deze villa zeker aanraden aan anderen!

The house was ideally located for lazy days around Jan Thiel—close to market, beaches, restaurants, evening entertainment; plus the pool and lounging areas. More adventurous days to Willemstad’s great culture and restaurants and the West End’s beaches. Very well appointed house, very smooth check in and check out process.

The home was amazing and Marieke was great!!! We loved our stay. The home is within walking distance of Jan Thiel beach which has everything you need for a great stay. Marieke is very knowledgeable and the House book has many great suggestions for things to do in the area.

Wat een heerlijk huis. Helemaal tot in details verzorgd. Vaatwasser, wasmachine, magnetron, ligbedden, muziekbox, koelkast met ijsblokjes. Heerlijke bedden. Vlakbij Jan Thiel Beach. Met 5 minuten lopen ben je op het strand. Door de schutters komt heerlijk de wind door het huis. In de slaapkamer airco of anders de schutters open met een hor er achter. We hebben genoten van alle luxe en het was helemaal schoon. Ik kom zeker nog een keer terug.

Ons verblijf in de Playa villa van Vista Royale was zeer aangenaam. In overleg met de beheerster van de villa konden wij onze koffers wat eerder achterlaten bij de villa en ook wat later dan afgesproken uitchecken. De locatie van de villa is echt top, max 5 min van Jan Thiel Beach en een supermarkt. Bedden liggen heel comfortabel, alle voorzieningen werken naar behoren. Kortom een geweldige vakantie gehad!

When I reserved accommodation at Villa Playa, my only concern was that there were no reviews for this new rental property. My concerns quickly dissipated with the quick responses by the owners to my questions about the property. We chose Villa Playa for a family vacation to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Playa provided all the amenities of home for our stay during our mid-January 2019 trip. This tastefully decorated, new construction home is thoughtfully designed to capture the outdoors, with a beautiful pool and landscaping. The roll-up doors were one of our favourite features. You feel like you are at a private resort. It was the perfect retreat for our adult children and their significant others. Marieke, the property manager, greeted us after a delayed flight arrival & was very friendly and helpful to point out features like the alarm system, electric driveway gate, Bose Soundtouch speaker & other aspects to make our stay comfortable. Marieke checked in with us during our stay via "WhatsApp" to insure everything was ok, & provided links to various tours & attractions. Axel & Marion, the owners, provided a welcome package with a pack of cold local beer & snacks which we appreciated after a long travel day. The location of the property is conveniently located in an upscale, modern neighbourhood & within walking distance of a well stocked grocery store with a full compliment alcoholic beverages. I would recommend renting a car, which we did (do not rent from Europcar- very unreliable), so that you can enjoy all that Curacao has to offer. Taxi & public transportation appears to be a less reliable way to get around. Jan Thiel beach is also within about a 5 minute walk with Zest and Zanzibar beach bars where food is available. This beach is the launch point for the Bluefinn Charters catamaran day cruise/sail to the island of Klein. Other cruise operators are also a short drive away from Playa. We highly recommend Bluefinn Charters- excellent bbq lunch & helpful, friendly crew. We chose to prepare most of our meals in the well appointed kitchen including a Microwave/Oven combo, Fridge with ice maker (we also made ice- the ice maker had some trouble keeping up with our needs), Nespresso machine & dishwasher. The king-size beds were comfortable, although I would have liked extra pillows. My wife & I did not find it necessary to use our bedroom A/C unit, finding the cross airflow enough for a comfortable night sleep. Thank you Axel & Marion

Hele mooie vakantiewoning met prachtige tuin en zwembad. Lekker open bij de lekkere temperaturen maar ook goed af te sluiten. Plek is zeer goed. In 5 minuten op het strand en bij supermarkt
