Limitations on communication. Expensive considering the location. Breakfast not fresh. Religious imagery.

Odor. Lack of staff. Building. Location

All ok for a business night or two

Breakfast was tasty and plentiful

Nothing , would have been nice to have been able to have an evening meal there

As I grew up in this town/city I knew the Hotel under the old management/ original owner I had an idea what to expect. Great view on the balcony at the back, which brought back memories of the time I spent there with the boy scouts. During my stay on only met one member of staff who covered reception and also cleaning. She was exceptionally friendly and helpful. A very big thank you to her.

A minor dislike was that the restaurant not been opened yet. Due to reopen on 3rd September though. But considering the problems caused due to Covid and resulting general staff shortages in the hospitality in Switzerland this, for me is a very minor issue.

Breakfast was acceptable but not remarkable. Some of the meats and cheeses looked a little tired. But the space was clean and the staff was pleasant.

No A/C or screens on the windows so be aware if you are visiting during a heatwave. Room was large and had large openable windows. The room was on the pricey side for it's amenities and location.

Basic but very comfortable room. Looked out on to a wheat field.

The TV has only German stations. Considering that we are in Switzerland, a few French channels would have been appreciated.

Clean, bright, freshly renovated and rooms have a balcony or a terrace. Plenty of hot water.

There is virtually no lounge area other than two settees at the reception. The reception itself was by a free voice-call , a room key was dropped ok but no other welcome info on getting about and the local facilities was available.
