Rickaty Lodge Bed and Breakfast, Airport Bed and Breakfast, B&B de aeropuerto, Las Palmas Airport, Gran Canaria Airport, LPA, Spain

Proximity to the airport; availability of a shuttle service; breakfast and coffee in the morning; optional evening dinner and drinks; cleanliness; hosts were friendly, knowledgeable, and available for an early morning departure A kind thanks to my hosts for a pleasant, evening conversation and dinner! Accessibility of the property: The main floor with my room was decently accessible for individuals with mobility limitations and assistive devices. But, the room and ajoining private bath itself was quite small which may be a limiting factor for some travelers with disabilities. The rooftop terrace required the navigation of a narrow, winding staircase though a standard dining table and chairs were available on the main level near the breakfast nook which supports a more accommodating space for travelers with mobility challenges.

Neighborhood streets in this area were relatively narrow and had limited spaces due to a large number of parked cars. Although I did not have a vehicle, it may be necessary to arrive earlier in the day for travellers to more easily access parking.

We booked this at the last minute and were not disappointed. We were given a warm welcome, shown the room and breakfast arrangements, plus the roof terrace. The hosts were nice people and were good company when we had dinner from their menu and a few glasses of wine and beer. 2 minutes to drop off a hire car in the morning and no hassle. Will seriously consider this mini hotel for a first, or last night to ease the pain of the travel day.

nothing. it was all good

Rickaty Lodge had everything we needed for an overnight stay close to the airport. We were picked up at the airport and taken back the following morning. The room was clean and comfortable. The bar on the terrace was quirky and a great place to relax after the flight. The meal was simple but exactly what we needed. Breakfast was, again, exactly what was needed. Simple but well planned. The owners were delightful and couldn’t have done more to make our stay perfect.

Our only very minor concern was the size of the bathroom, which required a certain amount of dexterity to use. One small issue in an otherwise lovely property.

Location- near airport

Limited time access to property, not welcoming/ friendly and breakfast food stale.
