It is a beautiful quaint family run property, located in the centre of Kyoto. Nicol was super-host: respectful, caring. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Our host was extremely kind and helpful, she assisted us with everything we needed. Her baked goods are to die for- highly recommend to be ones with strawberry filling

The hotel owners were amazing people. The rooms are comfortable, and clean with good air conditioning. The breakfast there is amazing, as well as their freshly baked bagels they offer everyday. We needed for nothing, and were very happy with our stay there. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the Kyoto area.
It’s not so much that we didn’t like it, but fair warning, the bathroom is small. In addition, we were on the 4th floor, and there is not an elevator so get ready to get our steps in to the top, if that’s where your room is. The owner will help take your luggage up, but if you have a lot of it, get ready for a trek.
