This hotel has so much to like. Apart from the great location this is a gem. Yes it’s showing its age, but it is a grand establishment that continues to function on a grand hotel scale. The entrance and grand staircase are a treat. The super efficient professional staff are fabulous. The rooms are large with everything you could need. I loved the little sitting area in this very large room. Spotlessly clean. We even had an English language newspaper and the New York Times delivered to the room each morning. Rooms were serviced daily without having to ask. Total value for money and an experience in itself.
Only reason why I didn’t rate this a 10 for comfort was because the bed was a fraction hard for me. Nothing else could be faulted.

Just ok, need more side walls to be cleaned.
Hotel is old and require remodeling, does not fit with the name Nikko.
