This property is extremely nice, spacious, and the surrounding area is beautiful. The street is very quiet and the backyard backs up to Crane's, which is a plus.
The owner was available to answer any questions I had, and promptly.

The host was amazing. I rented the house for my wife's 40th birthday party. The house provided able stay for all the guests that came out of town and had a great dynamitic to keep the kids engaged and interacting together outside. In the evening once most everyone left, the views around the property were calming and relaxing.

We loved this house and property! It was spacious for our big group and the kids enjoyed having the basement as a play area. The outside area was beautiful and we able to enjoy a nice bonfire one night! The location was also convenient and close to restaurants and the cute shops of Saugatuck. Maria was also easy and timely with communications. I definitely recommend this stay to others!

This home was a wonderful home base for our wine tasting weekend. There are several wineries/breweries w/in a five minute drive. The views from the deck and patio area were amazing! The place was super clean and had everything we needed to prepare a big meal. The lakefront area was beautiful!

Beautiful location in the Crane Orchard area with so much to enjoy within a short drive. The property and house setting are sublime. We were delighted to be here for apple picking season. This is a "must stay" property.

The home was wonderful for our group as we have 4 couples, and the house has 4 separate bedrooms with large beds for adults to sleep. There are 4 separate bathrooms, so we were each able to have our own space. This is a wonderful feature and hard to find in home rentals.
The property is at the end of a cul-de-sac and overlooks the local orchard. We had a wonderful time just sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. There is a gradual staircase down to the lake with a rowboat and kayak which we used. The owner had life jackets in the garage for us as well.
The home was well stocked with any of the things we needed to use like pots, pans, dishes, towels, soaps, etc.
The owner was very prompt and helpful with any of the questions we had prior to arriving. We would certainly stay again!

This gorgeous home was everything I read about and more. I can't say enough great things. The location was perfect - at the end of the cul-de-sac overlooking rolling hills and the orchard. The house was laid out perfectly - spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was stocked with every amenity one can need. Then the grounds and walk down to the lake was spectacular with a landing for the Adirondack chairs, another landing with the firepit and then the deck with the boats. Being at the end of the land made kayaking very easy and peaceful. Maria was extremely responsive and kind at every step of the way. The family we were with was from California with their gorgeous views, etc. and they were very impressed! Didn't tall short of amazing. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for making our experience so remarkable.

The house was clean and beautiful. We spent most of our time on the lake as we rented a pontoon. There is something to do for everyone. The basement with beds made it especially nice for the people who had children to spread out. The only issue was the basement was pretty cold so I would suggest bringing a space heater if you are using that area. It was nice to have access to the washer and dryer also. Be prepared to get your exercise as it is a nice walk up the hill to get to the house from the lake.

Maria was extremely helpful and communicative. Great place to stay. Nice concrete steps with lighting to see where your walking down to the fire pit and dock at night. Would recommend!

The property was beautiful! We all had fun, relaxed, picked peaches, celebrated 2 kids birthdays and our anniversary this weekend! The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook meals together as a family. The Crane family was very friendly and accommodating. Great place to stay!

We loved the check-in, so easy! The property was beautiful and well maintained. Our adult children thoroughly enjoyed using the canoe and kayaks. We took advantage of the fire pit and grilling out. Everything was in order and clean, Maria was great with communication and we all agreed we would love to come back next year, we had a wonderful stay!!

The location was perfect with great scenery & several amenities for families who love the outdoors. Great setup for our 4 teenage boys in the lower level with enough Beds for all of them with their own private bathroom. Our only girl slept in the loft upstairs along with 2 bedrooms for the couples with a bathroom upstairs. Having the boats & dock for our own private use was a plus & we made good use of them. Our place was an easy drive to Saugatuck & several beaches. The Dunes ride in Saugatuck was fun & also a very nice mini golf place close by. Really enjoyed our stay here & we had perfect weather…no rain & highs in the 70’s. If you come in mid July be sure to go blueberry picking at Crane’s which is super close.

Our blended family (9 people) spent a long weekend here together. It was amazing! From the deck, you look out over the orchards and well manicured lawns. It felt like we were staying in a park. Having access to the kayaks, canoe, and row boat was very enjoyable. The house had everything we needed to cook and entertain. Having four bathrooms was definitely a plus! Another nice detail was the number of Purple Martin bird houses in proximity to the house. We enjoyed the outdoors with no trouble from mosquitoes or bugs.
The property is within easy driving distance to Saugatuck and Holland. We finished our stay by having breakfast at the Cranes restaurant just up the road. It was absolutely fantastic. We all enjoyed the stay and left with wonderful memories. I highly recommend this property.

House was advertised. Beautiful setting and perfect place for family getaway. We enjoyed the fire pit and watched the stars and had many movie nights. Hosts were friendly and very responsive. House was super clean. Will definitely be back!

We spent a week at this lovely property. There were multiple outside areas to enjoy the views of lake, apple trees, and corn fields. Birds and squirrels kept us amused. We appreciated the canoe and kayaks that were available for us to use. The property was close to many other attractions. Highly recommend!

Our family of 10, 6 adults and 4 children ages 3 to 10, gathered together for our annual Fall weekend when we go apple picking at Crane's Apple Orchard in Fennville! This year we stayed at Crane's house rental located on Hutchins Lake and we had the best time ever! The house was very clean and we had plenty of room for all of us! We were blessed with beautiful weather and able to go swimming, boating, fishing off the pier, walking to Crane's Pie Pantry for donuts, cider and so many other goodies! It was fun being able to walk to the corn maze where we had lots of fun! We were nestled at the end of the street and felt like we were on a farm with all the land around us! All of the Crane Family members that we met through our stay were very friendly, kind and helpful! We will definitely come back and stay here again!

We had such a great time. The kids lived in the lake. We enjoyed the surrounding orchards, wineries and Oval Beach. Great location for spending time in Saugatauk. The hosts were very accommodating. Great place for a family vacation.

We are repeat visitors at this property, and it didn’t disappoint. Such a clean comfortable house. We shared many great memories with three generations of family. The private dock and lake was fun for everyone. Lots of beautiful scenery and quiet. Perfect for a family vacation.

My husband and I gave our 3 adult children and two little granddaughters a week at the Crane cottage as a Christmas gift. We all had a wonderful time. The cottage was very roomy for 8 adults and two little ones, age 4 years and 8 months. Everyone had their own rooms and bath. The basement was a great place for my daughter, her husband and 2 little girls. The little ones loved swimming and splashing in the lake. My son in law delighted with the fishing and kayaking. My son and and his spouse enjoyed touring all the breweries and towns around the area. We have an avid bicyclist who loved all the challenging trails. My husband and I just enjoyed the scenery and seeing all our family together for a week. Would recommend to anyone. Had a wonderful week.

Plenty of room for 6 adults and 5 kids. Adults were on the 1st and 2nd floors and the kids in the basement. The house had everything we needed. We really appreciated the labeling of all the light switches. Rented a pontoon boat for the week. Beautiful property and very quiet area. Plenty to do in the area and Fennville is one mile away. Had a great time!

Fun house to rent
The views were spectacular. You overlook the corn maze and orchards on one side and the lake on the other side. House was very well stocked and we had use of the dock and boats. They also had multiple sizes of life jackets which was great. Fire pit was fun to roast s’mores in the evenings.. It’s on a quiet dead end street. We ate at the restaurant and brought home bake goods and it was all excellent. Our only suggestion would be to replace the mattress in the first floor master en-suite. It is sagging badly. We had a blast and would definitely stay at this property again and recommend it highly.

Our Favorite Summer Vacation Destination
This was our second summer staying at this beautiful home surrounded by orchards and Hutchins Lake. Its location is ideal - so close to wineries, Virtue Cider, Evergreen Lane Creamery, and of course Crane's Pie Pantry & Restaurant. Just short drives to the beaches, Saugatuck, Douglas and South Haven. Maria is a responsive, very considerate host. We want to stay again next year. Highly recommend this property.

Perfect property
Rented the house to celebrate a 30th birthday, met all of our expectations. From kids under 3 to all the adults plenty of room and activities. From fishing off the dock to playing in the yard, going to Virtue Cider or a day in Saugatuck. Maria was very prompt in any questions we had. Great house for any get away.

Great Friendsgiving get-away
We had an excellent time during a Friendsgiving weekend. The kitchen fit our needs spectacularly, and there was plenty of space on the main floor and the basement for us to hang out and play games. I had a few questions about my bill and the host was phenomenal about communication and was very prompt in her response. Would definitely return!!
