We had a wonderful family vacation. There were 16 of us ranging from 2 yrs old to 83 yrs old. Everyone had a great time. Golf cart was a nice bonus to haul around kids and beach toys. The kids were in the pool every day and we had absolutely no issues with the heater as previously mentioned. Any issue we had was immediately addressed and resolved. (There weren't towels in every bathroom and a couple beds were missing a blanket). The location is perfect and the house is just beautiful.

We had a good stay. Comfortable beds, tons of items in the kitchen to use for a large group. Loved that there was a large pantry. Backyard was nice, pool was great. Communication was wonderful, we had a couple issues with the pool heat and they responded and took care of the issues very quickly. The house could use a good deep cleaning. Glad we didn't have 6 cars, 4 was a tight fit getting in and out.
Only negative thing was the public beach access across the street. It's an entry way not a beach due to the private beaches. People were literally right on top of your stuff. We didn't walk to the other access down the road due to how much stuff and kids we had with us. When booking we booked based off of the beach access being right across the street so that was disappointing.

Communication with the property manager was great. Freya was so nice. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could need to cook family dinners. The house could definitely use some upgrades. The fence in the backyard was pretty raggedy. The floors really need a good cleaning. It didn't seem as if they had been scrubbed in quite some time. While waiting on our uber, we did run into one of the maintenance men. He was also very nice and told us the house will be receiving updates very soon. We told him the front door was coming off of its hinges, he was very quick to fix it. The beach service is kind of far. It would have been nice if it was at the first beach access. With all of that being said we would still definitely stay again. Our flights were changed on both the day we arrived and the day we left. Freya was very accommodating in letting us leave our luggage outback before check in and after check out which we were so thankful for. My family loved the stay and we didn't want to leave.

The house had great beds & pillows, the kitchen had lots of good knives, stainless pots & large bowls & pitchers that were big enough for our family (8 adults & 7 children). The pool & yard activities were fun, and it was great to have 4 couches in the living room.
The closest beach access is bordered on both sides by condos that have taken their “possession” of the beach way too far! They rope off “their” area and have bouncers (at least on Sunday) How unpleasant! It only leaves 30 feet of beach access. It is much nicer to walk down a few blocks (even though we had 2 nursing moms & diapers & naps). So, we weren’t close like we wanted to be because of the lousy neighbors ☹️

We really enjoyed our stay. The photos do make the outdoor area look larger than it is but it was still very nice. The ping pong net was broke when we got there and the pool table is weathered (but it is outside). Rooms were spacious and beds very comfy. Overall we had a wonderful experience.

We all had such a great time! The property was very comfortable with the large group we had. Enough space for everyone. Pool was a nice feature; however, it was more like a hot tub since the temps were so hot, so not the best at trying to cool down. Since there were some teenagers with us, the pool table and ping pong table were a hit. It was nice to have a washer and dryer to keep items clean and dry. There were two refrigerators, which made it nice to store our beverages in one and food in the other. The only issue was the second refrigerator needed some tlc. It lacked shelving and it took a long time to cool things down. We had one little snag with some amenities that weren’t readily available or functioning properly but after contacting the manager, they quickly responded and took care of it. The property was in walking distance to the beach, as well as to restaurants, shopping, and other entertainment. The only thing that was needed was more paper towels and TP. This was a large group and we were provided the bare minimum (two rolls of TP per bathroom and only two rolls of paper towels). Overall, we had a great experience and would book this property again. We really enjoyed our stay at Bahama Breeze. It was a bit of a hike to beach chairs but doable. Nice pool, backyard area, and well stocked kitchen. Hosts were very good about communicating with us on any questions. We would definately come back.

Our family of 11 loved staying at Bahama Breeze. The host was highly responsive and proactively checked in on us via text several times throughout our stay. The house is close to everything and was exactly as described. Tons of pool/beach toys and things to keep kids occupied. Would stay here again!

The location was perfect. The beach was a block away and the wagon made it simple to load up for the day.
The outside pool area was amazing. Although the outdoor temp was cool, the heated pool was great.
The house inside is in need of repair. The beds were comfortable, but the floors, rugs, lamps, blinds, and furniture need to be replaced. The interior was a disappointment and would keep us from returning to this house.

Great location and amenities. The house has a great layout for socializing with a well equipped kitchen and outdoor grill for cooking. Very close to shopping for groceries and area restaurants if you don't want to cook. Very short walk to the beach and great access to biking and walking paths. Highly recommend staying here!

The property is in the perfect location for the beach and shopping! We had 16 adults in our group the house was comfortable for the most part,if you don't mind sleeping in bunk beds.it is the perfect set up for 5 couples and 4 children with a couple of teens on the third floor!the management are very attentive and reachable. We used this accommodation for our large family Thanksgiving get together. It was comfortable, close to the beach and shopping amenities. Michael responded quickly to some minor problems, which were resolved.

My parents, my brother-in-law and his kids, my husband and our kids and I stayed here for a family trip. There were 11 of us and the house had ample space for us all. Having so many bathrooms was a plus. The adult "kids" enjoyed the pool table and we all enjoyed the pool. The backyard space was great for hanging out. Being so close to the beach was convenient. There are several grocery stores that are close and shopping is just a 10 min. walk. We cooked all of our meals at the house and there were ample dishes, silverware, and cookware for our needs. The house does have some signs of wear but everything was functional and comfortable and met our needs. The Ice Cream Shoppe became a favorite stop and we got fresh seafood at the Sea Market. I would highly recommend both.

We stayed at Bahama Breeze for our parent's 50th Anniversary. We had three families total with a range in ages. The home is very spacious and bedrooms all provided plenty of privacy. The location of the home is perfect. It is close to many restaurants, shops, etc. It is at the end of scenic Hwy 98 next to Henderson State Park so it is not busy with traffic. A very quiet , well kept area.

The pool is in the backyard which is nice and private. The pool table and ping pong table located in the back yard where a hit!
We had heat for the pool and I recommend. It kept the pool at an enjoyable temperature consistently whether first thing in the AM or night.
The beach access across the street was wonderful. There is another Beach access and the option for beach service that is two blocks down. I Highly recommend the beach service. Chairs and Umbrellas are set up each day. We rented 2 golf carts and could go almost anywhere with them, including parking right at the entrance of the beach with beach service.
Michael is an excellent communicator and responsive. He checked in half way to ensure were were good.
I will have to agree with a lot of the reviews though as far as the home is a little worn. Not all of the rooms where this way, however the pool house bedroom, some of the things in the backyard and a few in the main house could definitely use some TLC. The pictures don't really depict this "wear" in some of the rooms. With that said, it is a beach home and we were there at the end of season and I would expect wear. It was clean which is foremost important. The home provided plenty of space, quiet area, excellent location, an abundance of amenities in the home for all of us to enjoy. Our family had a wonderful vacation and Celebration of 50 years! Thank you Michael. We appreciate it!

This house worked great for our large family vacation!!!
Although renting a property this big was expensive, it worked very well for gathering our kids and grandchildren! It provided an all inclusive place to keep all of the little ones safe while having a lot of beach fun! Having the pool, ping pong table, pool table and grill in the enclosed backyard was perfect after time at the beach.
The pool house was perfect for my son with the two youngest children. They were able to gather with the family when the kids were up, and go to a quiet spot when they needed to sleep.
The third floor room was a little difficult to maneuver and dangerous for the little ones with the spiral staircase. You really couldn’t get a suitcase up there and there wasn’t a bathroom.
The house has some wear and tear, but that is to be expected with the amount of people coming and going.
All in all a great family place to have a vacation!

Family Vacation in Destin
Family vacation of 16 stayed at the Bahamas Breeze house in Destin, the house was a excellent place for our family had every convenience we needed. The house was close to the beach, rented chairs and umbrellas from LA Duce Vita for the week thru the property manager turned out to be excellent choice. The only inconvenience was the pool, too many palm trees creating debris in the pool, also drainage from rain and puddles needs improvement and a few pieces of lawn furniture shows wear. Would definitely stay again.
