My family, along with my siblings and their families (10 people total) stayed at this Bonnet Shores house and were delighted with our stay. Great host, fantastic location and a short walk to the beach (make sure you have a wagon, the house has one available for guests). A short drive to the pier, restaurants and attractions. The neighborhood is pretty quiet, and seemed like a fair number of long term residents so we had a lot of peace at night which was helpful with young kids (I fear we were the loud ones!). The property has an amazing stone patio and covered outdoor kitchen/bar area that is ideal for meals and evening cocktails. We loved the second floor deck for morning coffee and breakfast. A beautiful view of Wesquage pond and the sunset. All rooms were very comfortable, lots of bathroom space and a nice amount of common area to hang out together. Great kitchen space to prepare meals and there is a propane grill available. The yard was also a nice size for outdoor activities with littles. Be warned that the marsh makes night time buggy (but biting bugs weren’t too bad) so bring some insect repelling accessories with you; we used OFF coils and a Thermacell patio and it was enough to keep us mostly bug free. Highly recommend staying here and would book again.

Very comfortable and spacious home for our group of 10. Nicely furnished. Outside patio and deck areas are the best we have ever stayed in. Walk to Kelly Beach is about a 1/4 mile. It is an easy, flat walk and the. Each is very nice .

Our family of 10 stayed in the house with the perfect amount of space for everyone. Each family even had their own bathroom. The owner Chris was great! There was easy communication, and she really just wanted us to have a great time. It was an easy 7 minute walk to the best beach! Kelly Beach was so perfect for our kids, there was never a worry about safety. Bonnet Shores is a beautiful area, so close to Newport and all the surrounding beach towns. We loved our week there!

The house was beautiful (exactly as described) and was impeccably clean. Chris, the owner, was wonderful - very friendly and helpful. She was always available to answer any questions, (even before our stay) which was very much appreciated as we were figuring out logistics for our three grandchildren ages two and under. The location was great as the house overlooks the pond - we used the kayaks, watched some spectacular sunsets and used the firepit (a little buggy but not too bad). Everything on the premises was clean and in good shape. It's a good ten minute walk to the beach, easy to do with strollers and beach carts. Beach and neighborhood were beautiful, a perfect vacation spot!

We were impressed by this property and enjoyed our time here! It was the perfect size for a group of 9 adults, with plenty of space, activities, and linens for everyone. The location was perfect for a weekend away!

Everything was great about the house and the host House clean and had all the amenities We had a great graduation weekend One small issue due to nature there was an infestation of mayfly’s at night

Chris' home is amazing! First, the view and the amount of natural light are unsurpassed. We didn't want to leave home! We prepared and ate several meals there, and the kitchen was spacious and well equipped. There were two main gathering spaces that had plenty of room and comfortable furniture for all of us to relax and enjoy each other's company. We asked Chris if she had a pack and play available for us to use, and she actually bought a new one for us. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect spot to meet and eat with our kids who work/study in New York/Boston. Bonnet Shores is super quaint and friendly, the beach is a short walk and the nightly sunsets on the pond are stunning. Very comfortable and modern home that made our family feel right at home as we ate Thanksgiving and watched World Cup soccer. Chris the host was very helpful. Overall an Aplus VRBO, highly recommend.

This is a beautiful property overlooking a pond with amazing sunsets. It is a few blocks away from a lovely, sandy, ocean beach. It was a wonderful place for our family to celebrate a milestone birthday and reconnect. I recommend it highly!

This house was terrific for our group. The gathering space on the main floor has a wonderful view and a great seating setup. Nature was kind enough to send us some swans to watch on the lake outside. The walk to the ocean is short and easy. Chris had everything ready for us, which we appreciate. For a fall stay, the fire pit outside is a giant plus.

I stayed here with my husband and three other couples. This home had plenty of room with the four bedrooms and four bathrooms and lots of living areas that we never felt on top of one another. Beds were comfortable, lots of towels, most everything you need in the kitchen for cooking meals...Chris even had little shampoos and conditioners, etc. in the bathrooms. This house was CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! That's what impressed me the most (besides the back porch area)...was how clean this home was. It made me very comfortable staying there. The back porch area was amazing with a HUGE fire pit that gave off amazing heat, it was no problem sitting out there even when it was chilly. This home is definitely worth it!! Don't hesitate to rent from Chris...she was incredibly hospitable and very easy to get ahold of.

The house is beautifully appointed and the kitchen well equipped. We enjoyed the fire pit, views and all the amenities that were available such as the basketball hoop, swing, beach chairs etc. The property is conveniently located and is within walking distance to the beach. One of the nicest places I've stayed.

This house is beautifully situated, on Wesquage Pond Wildlife Refuge, 2 1/2 blocks from Kelly Beach; natural light bathes this house from sunrise to moon set. Check-in was painless, and Chris was kind enough to come over to introduce herself and set up the Sonos music system. The house was immaculately clean, the beds comfortable, and the outdoor kitchen with its fire pit was where we spent our evenings.

The outside bar and fire pit added so much to our outside experience. Very quiet and well kept neighborhood. Overall one of the best rentals we have experienced. Although our daughter graduated we will be returning to Rhode Island to enjoy more time at this oasis.

The view from the house was spectacular. The neighborhood was cute and the location was great. This house was beautifully decorated. Each room was unique and made you feel like you were at the beach. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate with us so we weren't able to use the kayaks or the fire pit but staying at this place in the summer would be a blast.

This was the perfect location for our family gathering during the Holidays. Plenty of room to accommodate teenagers and adults alike. From sunrise to sunset, the property provided spectacular views of the pond vistas. The home was perfectly appointed and we look forward to our future visits.

Chris is a wonderful host. Super nice and friendly and ready to help if you have questions and/or should any issues or inconvenience arise. She gave us a nice little discount because the internet was down the first 2 nights, and she had tried really hard to get them to fix it. That was very kind and sweet of her. The house and view are absolutely gorgeous and we loved, loved every bit of our time there. We'll definitely stay again and will choose any property she manages if there are others outside RI.

Chris’ home is beautifully appointed and in the perfect spot. From the pond with kayaks to the private beach, we never ran out of things to do right in the area. The house has multiple decks, a fire pit, and an outdoor shower. We would come home from days in Newport, Jamestown, Narragansett and Block Island (all easy drives) and watch the sunset from the porch. Chris was attentive to every detail and warm and welcoming throughout our time at her beautiful home.

This is our 3rd year and the home and location is perfect. Love the access to the pond and beach. It has everything you need for a great beach vacation.
