SENTIDO Apollo Palace

Moraitika and Mesongi are two of the quiet villages, separated by a small river, in the South Corfu. The hotel is roughly 30 minutes away from Kerkyra (Corfu) town once you hop off your ferry, and about 25 minutes from the port of Lefkimmi. What makes this place valuable on its own, when others are rushing towards North-West, is that you can roll on your holiday in ease, without the rush of missing out. Whether you're an active couple/family or wish to laze in the sun while enjoying your next best read or near your perfect cocktail, Apollo Sentido is there to deliver. The resort offers accommodation in small villas or "Casitas" which is splendid. Each establishment is surrounded by vegetation, large plants, olive trees and pines. You get the nice feeling that the nature has taken over the place. The rooms are spacious and clean. Housekeeping is there every day. Staff is omnipresent but invisible. Always there to listen and accommodate you at their best. Plenty of space at and around the pools. Open bars or the main building bar and lounge are capable to sort your requests. Kids have plenty of choices either, and the entertaining staff is also ready to engage. In the main - Soleini Restaurant, they offer a continental buffet, whether its breakfast, lunch or dinner, seasoned with many Corfiot or Greek traditional dishes on everyone's taste. Coryfo, Asador or La Cantina complement their culinary experience with "à la carte" dishes. Special thanks to the staffs of Coryfo and Asador for making sure our experience was excellent. For the full picture of the space though, i would highly encourage to keep active and push your experience beyond the premises, even for short walks. However, if you're on a discovery quest, best practice tells a car is much needed. Though, one can make use of the green bus too, Apollo Sentido Hotel is also very capable to sort or best advice about trips and logistics.

Everything perfect!

Incredibly helpful and kind staff. We stayed in a beautifully renovated room which, although not large, worked very well for our family of five. There was an excellent variety of delicious food at the buffets. The swimming pools were excellent and very well maintained.

Only thing was that the smoking areas were very close to the family pools.

The food is very good - both quality and its selection.

A note: I'm comparing it to my past experiences in other sentido Apollo hotel, at Rhodes, which left only the best memories. The moment we arrived here (by car), we were told by the parking stuff we are not allowed to park at the main parking, as it's for "other guests". I asked who are the "other guests" and the answer was "i don't know, VIP guests maybe". We were routed to the parking on the outskirts, literally at the garbage dump (see photos). Further, we heard different versions from the reception stuff - one said we are actually allowed to enter the main parking, the other said "it's parking for hotel owners". However, it was half filled (yes, half empty) during the day time by same cheap rental cars as the we had. All this makes a feeling, that parking is for some sort of privileged guests, which could be OK if the criteria is clear (like, those who paid for some premium package), but the stuff inability to explain it suggest the status selection system is based on some personal decisions. Awful to be treated like that. I filled the online check-in for all of my family two weeks before arrival. And still, receptionist said it doesn't matter and "all guests have to fill out the form in hand". I refused and he magically found data I've provided online on his computer. Also, they said me an offer to email (about two weeks before arrival), to choose and add optional services. I picked the late checkout. At the arrival, receptionist said "it doesn't work like that, you need to ask at the last day before departure". So I came back and asked - the other receptionist at that moment said that's not true, i shouldn't have wait until the last day. At midnight, during the last night, I've got an email - "your request is not fulfilled".
