If you are wanting ocean views….. you will struggle to find a better spot. Fall asleep to the sounds of waves crashing right outside your door. Beautiful spot. Layout is a little funky but actually provides some privacy for members of your party. House is in need of some updates and we had a few maintenance issues while we were there. But the on-site host, Rainbow, and the local maintenance guy were amazing. Responsive, great communication and very kind. All issues resolved quickly. Host knows the conditions at every beach within 20 miles, where the dolphins are and has her fingers on the pulse of the area. Note that with the exception of one bedroom the house has no AC. Only really an issue in the late afternoon and early evening when the sun is in the West but it was something we didn’t catch when booking. Our fault. Also note that the location is kind of remote. Which is amazing for privacy and peace and quiet. But it’s a pretty good drive if you want to go shopping or hit a restaurant. Not a great distance but the windy roads mean it takes a while. We visited in early June and had a lot of bugs flying around. Host said that time of year was gnat season so we grabbed a couple of UV traps and that helped tremendously.

This location is amazing! The house is amazing! And the host and on-site help from Rainbow were amazing! We got so much help, right away, from the host when we had questions before and during our stay and amazing local tips from Rainbow. We had 3 families here for the week of Thanksgiving that included kids 11-16 and 9 people total. The space was perfect for us all with the kids all together in the "loft area" and adults each had 3 separate, private sleeping areas. We took complete advantage of the included kayaks, paddle boards, and snorkel equipment to explore the Bay everyday, which was also our backyard-you can't get better than that! Incredible views from the shore so we were out on the lanai most of the time. Incredible sea life right outside our door. We got a Costco delivery to stock the house but also easy drive to Kona area for eating out. Easy drive to Volcano National Park. You just can't go wrong with this rental!

We had a wonderful stay at this home. The location is wonderful and the access to kayaks and paddle boards included with the stay was fantastic for exploring the bay. The home was stocked with all the necessities we needed for the week. Thank you for helping us create wonderful memories with our family.

Amazing! We had out Daughters wedding and tied in with a little vacation. Everyone involved from booking to checking out and getting to know everyone was the most amazing experience.
