Amazing location on the harbour.
Central to all. Iconic position.
Clean room. Comfy bed.
Room was nice.
Staff had good communication.
We got 'upgraded' to what appeared to be a smaller room than the one we had booked. The 'upgrade' did have a sea view, but to get the upgrade they wanted us to cancel the booking and rebook. I'd booked this as non refundable and it wasn't cancelling online. It was a little intimidating having someone telling you to cancel the room, over and over. Especially when you're not sure if eligible to cancel, it kind if caused an unnecessary stress.

great host. we couldn’t find the appartment. we called them and two minutes later we were picked up. They showed us where to find everything. thumbs up!

The staff was exceptional! It was a quaint little room, perfect for our 1 night stay.
The stairs to get to it and it was hard to find at first.

Room was clean and comfortable . Excellent English by the host. Great to have AC on a hot day.
Location - hard to find and more of a separate room than part of a ‘hotel’. No entrance/reception. Need a bit of signage - 44 hidden up behind 64. Balcony was of limited use. Could hear trains at many hours.

Close to Station & Restaurants etc
No help given with luggage up the stairs. The Owner asked us to come to the Main Square for payment but insufficient directions given. We were then asked to cancel Booking.com payment (this was on the day of arrival) and pay him cash less a discount which was rather improper. We would have paid twice in this case (4 nights) due cancellation Policy. Incredible, considering he has a private website with similar cancellation Policy and would have been well aware!
