the property has an excellent location. It is on the water on the eastern side of Boothbay Harbor. town is a fairly short walk north up the road and across the foot bridge.

Everything was nice.

The rooms were clean and had balconies 😊 enjoyed sitting by marina. watching the activities and the location was very convenient! Also,very nice continental breakfast

Love the location with the view!! The beds were so comfortable and there was coffee in every room. It was charming - like hotels from the movies.

The hotel was awesome! My room was tastefully decorated, super clean, and comfortable. We spent hours on the balcony overlooking harbor and it was wonderful! I can't wait to return!

All rooms overlook the harbor. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. Walkways on interior overlooking the parking lot were well decorated with bloom-gilled flower boxes.

Restaurant, unfortunately, was not open this year. Breakfast was provided, but with limited and unchanging choices.

Spacious room, clean, well located on the quieter side of the harbor. Although the restaurant was closed for the season (COVID), they did provide a nice light breakfast on premises.

A good walk to the “town” side of the harbor for restaurants and activities/shopping. However, one did get exercise that way! Also, I thought I had booked a full view of the harbor, but we had a room with a side view (but a nice view or the gorgeous church on the hill). Bathroom very tiny, could not accommodate more than 1 at a time.

The rooms were immaculate! The staff was wonderful and the location was great. Great value! Would stay there again for sure.

The bathroom was on the small side, that being said, it was the cleanest bathroom we have ever seen in a hotel that we have ever stayed at.

Booked on line, was hoping for a room with a view, ---as the hotel says " every room has a view" but was given a room in the rear corner, ( kinda sucked) maybe it is just me....there was a vacant upstairs corner room we were shown...with a nice view, instead of letting us free upgrade to this room,, "they" ( staff) would rather let it sit empty and shove us in the ( basically) worst room....or want us to pay another 50 bucks in a ( well) pretty old hotel) ....I guess I just think different....

nice self serve breakfast and coffee in the morning...is quiet at night after band stops at 10 pm.

Loved: Deck and chairs on deck. Liked coffee and breakfast Liked staff Comfortable and quiet. Brown's was a very nice place to stay. Loved that there were lots of nice restaurants in walking distance.

VERY pleased to have a microwave and mini frig. Wasn't listed as amenities and I knew restaurant on premises was closed. Nice mini breakfast. 2 warm hardboiled eggs and delicious fruit salad was perfect. I could see my brothers condo from my balcony. Wave, wave! Watched the lobster boats leave from the piers every morning.
