Cold breakfast.

It was the second fanciest hotel I've ever stayed at. In an unusual twist for an expensive hotel, it provided a complimentary breakfast with mini waffles. It was next door to the train station

The bed was a little high, but there was a step stool.

Breakfast excellent

The location is great, I appreciated the history of the place, and the staff is friendly.

The interior room I had (no window) was depressing. I thought I would tolerate it better than I did—but with no lights on it was pitch black. It was unpleasant to spend any time in it during the day. Also, at breakfast, tables did not get cleaned after use (I had to wipe down a tabletop two mornings) and it seemed like carpeted areas needed vacuuming more often. One other thing that really surprised me was streaming services were not available. The front desk told me I would have to use my own Netflix account. Since I did not have the credentials with me, I could only access network TV. I can’t remember the last place I stayed in when streaming services were not available.
