The Perch, Fantastic Mtn Lake View! Very clean, Dogs Welcome.
Vista fantastica! The Perch (362677) è una casa isolata di tronchi in una strada senza uscita, completamente asfaltata. Rilassati su un portico avvolgente in una delle numerose sedie a dondolo con UNA DELLE MIGLIORI VISTE del Lago Chatuge, montagne di Brasstown Bald (il punto più alto in Ga) e viste al tramonto, le foto non rendono giustizia alla vista! Godetevi un pasto sul tavolo da picnic sotto il portico o un fuoco accogliente nella buca per il fuoco all'aperto. Tutti i comfort di casa con una casa di tronchi completamente arredata che dispone di biancheria, TV via cavo a schermo piatto e internet wireless. La casa 3 camere da letto ha una camera da letto con un letto king-size con un divano letto in una camera da letto, seconda camera da letto ha un letto matrimoniale la terza camera ha una regina. Al piano inferiore nella zona giorno è un futon matrimoniale, un divano letto doppio e una camera da letto king-size e 1 bagno completo. Godetevi un camino a legna al livello principale con una zona soggiorno separata, cucina, 2 camere da letto e 1 bagno completo. Questa casa, a soli 2 miglia dalla città, ha una lavatrice e asciugatrice, lavastoviglie, forno a microonde e ventilatori a soffitto. TV CABLE con canali SPORTS ampliati. Vieni e goditi la pace e la tranquillità nelle splendide montagne della Georgia del Nord.

Very nice house to stay in for our weekend getaway for my 50th birthday. We were running late and I let the host know, she was very responsive and sent me the code to get in. We had a little trouble finding the place in the dark as we thought we were on the wrong road (hard to see in the dark on a mountain lol), texted her and she helped us through getting to the cabin. The parking is a little tight for a 1500 chevy truck, but we were able to get turned around in the driveway and have our truck point out to the road. The road dead ends at the cabin, there is one other cabin on this "road". Just be mindful that if you have a bigger vehicle, it might be hard to park there for you. The view is awesome from the back side of the cabin, we sat out there each morning and evening just looking at the mountains and the lake, very nice! Plenty of room for us and our dog, no complaints about the house at all.

Nice spacious but cozy cabin with beautiful views. The location was quiet and felt remote but wasn’t- easy access to restaurants and activities. Recommend.

The cabin and the view are really great. The Porch is a perfect spot to sit and admire the mountains, and the interior living spaces are generally cozy. The issue I had is how the managers (and there were seemingly multiple) made you feel as a guest. If you want a guest to feel welcome, then don't heap expectations on them, firehose them with long messages, and drop a bunch of fees. As many reviews as they have you'd think they would have learned by now how to make the whole thing seamless. Tell us what time the check-in is and then tell us the code. Easy right? Nope, they had a bunch of rules to get the entry code, including contacting them within a very narrow window or else... what? Oh and don't show up before 4:00 or else you'll be hit with a "25-50" fee. So you had to read their lengthy message before all of this to know you had to text them between 3:30 and 5:30. So we did text them at 5:35, because that is when we arrived and saw all of these messages. We had to wait for over 30min in the cold before someone got back to us. They also slapped a pet fee of 75 after the fact and is not noted on their listing. Regarding the beds, they have paper thin quilts, so definitely bring your own comforter. They also don't provide paper towels, because as she said "so we can keep our rates down". They just need to do a better job at making a guest feel welcome and less like a burden or an annoyance, and in the least, provide warm beds!!
