Nice little house. Great views. Blinds could use some work. Coffee pot was the only complaint.

Very large windows to view the ocean & the bay. In the evening you can watch osprey’s & eagles hunting for their dinner. The only disadvantage is the beach access is no longer safe to use. The state park though has ample parking and is less than a mile away.

We’ll, we didn’t time our trip well based on the crazy storms, but we felt safe and cozy in the home and enjoyed watching the waves and lightening over the ocean with the beautiful view. We’ve stayed here a few times now, and the place has definitely improved since the first time. Will def stay again, thank you!

The directions to the home were specific and easy to understand. Great start to the vacation!!! Then the icing on the cake is when you enter the home and are greeted by a spectacular view of the bay and the mouth of the ocean. The beds (King, Queen and bunk beds) were super comfortable with plenty of additional blankets and pillows but not necessary because of the warmth put out by the gas fireplace. The kitchen included everything we needed to cook a Thanksgiving meal - gas oven, full sized refrigerator, drip coffee pot, and lovely pots and pans. Access to the beach was a quick walk down the street and while the access path does have a bit of an incline, the rope rail made it a breeze for adults and our 6-year-old grandchild. Even though our stay occurred during a major holiday the homeowners were easy to reach and responded quickly. After our return home we immediately shared the listing with our family and friends as a premiere location that should not be missed. My husband has already started discussing the next opportunity to schedule a visit! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

You walk in the door, and across the room is a wall of windows with an incredible view of Alsea Bay and the bridge, and the curve of the bay into the ocean. Very clean and well kept, with plenty of comfy reclining sofas and chairs. The beds were very comfortable, as well. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the gadgets you might need. I was especially pleased with the electric tea kettle -- so often I end up having to heat water in a pan on the stove, as anything that's had coffee in it ruins the taste of tea :) No issues with electricity or wifi (mentioned in a previous review), and the host is very responsive to questions and concerns. I asked about an outlet accessible to charge an electric car -- yes, there is one! Beach access is 4 houses down: a steep graveled path, but with a strong rope "railing" so very easy access. A wonderful place to stay, and we hope to return!

Great view, enough space for a family and kitchen well equipped. Only negative would be some annoying electrical issues. They did mention it, but wifi freezes, microwave shut down... didnt trip the breaker but needed to be reset. Same with fireplace... when anything acts weird you need to start playing with circuit breakers.

We had not stayed at this property for several years and just returned for a week. It was fantastic! We had forgotten just how incredible the views are, and it was obvious the owner(s) had spent money on improvements. We'll definitely stay again!

We loved the place. It has beautiful ocean views. It was so relaxing listening to the sound of the waves. The house has everything you need for cooking. There were plenty of towels. The beds were comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back.

Close to town, cozy, comfortable beds, easy to find. Great stay for our girls trip. We did run out of TP but there where 6 girls. Would stay again.

Really love the view from this house. Great light coming in and you can't beat the ocean view along with the Alsea bay in the other direction. Location is perfect for us with its close proximity to Yachats and Newport and of course we like the quietness of Waldport. House has everything we need for a comfortable stay. This was our second time renting and we will book again.

We had such a great time at this property. Let me first tell you,the view from the main windows are spectacular.the ocean is ur back yard. The house had a great sense of coziness. I loved that we could cook our own meals and watch the marine life right on the beach.i appreciated the awesome communication the power had when we asked about the walk way to the beach. We had a great time and honestly would rebook this same hone again in the future. Highly recommend.

Nice comfortable home with outstanding views! We all had a great time walking on the beach (quick access just a down the street), hanging out on the deck, or relaxing inside looking at the amazing view. If you want to eat out but don't want to get in the car The Hill Top Cafe Bistro is a quick short walk from the house with friendly staff and great food. Would like to come back to this gem in Waldport

We enjoyed our stay. Property is in great location, windows are large and you can enjoy the view no matter the weather. You can see the seals in the water and on the beach right from the window.

The view is amazing of the ocean, beach, river, bay, and bridge. We spent time on the deck soaking in the sights and sounds of nature and did some crabbing from our boat in the bay. Crabbing results weren't good but we had fun anyway and didn't expect them to be that great in June with all the rain we've had. We took the nearby beach access and walked on the beach. We lucked out with beautiful weather. Sunshine and not windy. The house was well equipped and had the most comfortable living room furniture ever. We hope to return in the future. We had a great time taking in the views from the living room of the beach and the river. This house truly has unparalleled views. The whole family had a great time and found the house comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer. We had an issue with a malfunctioning garbage disposal. But it didn’t dampen our spirits. Look forward to visiting in the future.

Had a great relaxing stay. Large picture windows make for a great view of the ocean, river, and bay. Each seat gives you a different view. Saw lots of wildlife - sea lions, bald eagles, gulls and other birds. Looking for a place to just relax? This is it!
