Annidato sotto la gronda di una villa del 17 ° secolo. Questo appartamento atipico di 100 m2 si trova nel cuore della storica Parigi. Un tesoro di architettura e originalità con un ambiente da sogno. Vieni a vivere alle 4 in un appartamento unico!
Questo magnifico appartamento, almeno atipico di 100 m2, si trova in quella che viene chiamata una "villa" costruita nel diciassettesimo secolo, conosciuta come "l'hotel Aubray" con un carattere eccezionale la cui scala e alcuni elementi architettonici sono elencato come parte della storia del diciassettesimo secolo. Era la casa della famosa e imbronciata marchesa de La Brinvilliers.
Questi sono attici che sono stati completamente ristrutturati dall'architetto proprietario. Immergiti in un universo unico fatto di vecchie travi in legno, piastrelle d'epoca, oggetti insoliti, souvenir di viaggio, creazioni uniche (bisogna dire che i proprietari sono nel design). L'appartamento si nasconde nei suoi rientranze in pezzi insospettati, immagazzinati abilmente mimetizzati. Offre grandi sorprese: come questa vasca da bagno con vista sui tetti di Parigi che ti permette di vedere tutto senza essere visto! Questa doccia con vista del cielo ... O questa camera doppia che scompare sotto le tende nel corridoio. Il soggiorno è estremamente amichevole e caldo con una bella cucina completamente attrezzata con stufe a gas sarà adatto per "chefs de passage". Finestre in ogni stanza (5 nel soggiorno! ), e in tutto l'appartamento danno una luce molto bella a tutto l'appartamento.
Per il comfort, il riscaldamento e l'acqua calda sono prodotti da una caldaia integrata e invisibile.
Dal marzo 2019 ci sarà un'impalcatura di fronte a una parte delle finestre dell'appartamento per lavori di copertura sopra il nostro appartamento, per un periodo di 6-8 mesi.

Great place to stay and the hosts were wonderful! Lots of shopping and restaurants around and the hosts had great suggestions! Great location, outside of the tourist traps, but easy to get around the city! Highly recommend!

This home is cozy and comfortable. The building is old and charming and feels very royal. The building is old enough to be historical, but well maintained enough to feel as though it captures the a romantic Parisian vibe. Located in the heart of Marais close to everything, but (and this is so important) away from the loud streets. Lots of local restaurants, shops, and easy access to public transportation. The home has everything you might want as it is truly someone's home and feels cozy as such. The bedrooms have air conditioning units that are so fabulous for sleeping. Items to be aware of are first and foremost the steps. There are exactly 85 steps up into the apartment. I am a mid 50s pretty out of shape woman, but what I lack in good physical form I make up for in tenacity so these steps were not a big issue for me. I did have to rest on occasion walking up the steps (and I was grateful the luggage only went up once and down once). Stephanie did a great job of adding the photo of most of the stairs so you can see the amount of climbing needing to be done. (so the stairs are not a secret). For us, they added to reaching a quiet annex with beautiful light and a very quiet French hideaway. The king bed in the master bedroom is dreamy comfy and my 19 year old daughter slept in the two twins put together in the hall room. She said the beds were extremely firm. Bottom Line: This is a safe, secluded apartment in a lovely area that is close to everything Paris has to offer.

Our family of two adults and two teens stayed here for five nights, including around Bastille Day. The photos and description were perfectly accurate. We loved the apartment and the neighborhood. It was close to three metro stops, several grocery stores, the Coulée Verte Paris (Paris version of NYC high line), the Marais, etc. but away from the craziness of tourist areas. We were just a few blocks from the Bal des Pompiers (Firemens's Ball) on Bastille Day Eve, which was a unique experience for a visitor. Communication with the owner was prompt, and she was extremely helpful whenever we asked a question during our stay. We were there during a rather warm spell, and the AC units in the living room and main bedroom were able to keep up, while two Dyson fans kept the second bedroom fairly fresh. You are in an attic, so I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the temperature was maintained in the heat wave. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Our party of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the attic apartment. It's a bit of a climb to reach the top, but it's good exercise and the apartment is well worth the steps. Stephanie is very friendly and responsive. The kitchen is large and well appointed. The apartment is also a short stroll from the Saint Paul metro station, so getting around was easy. We would certainly stay here again on our next trip to Paris.
