This was our first family vacay with an infant, our first grandchild and it was really an ideal location. Everyone had their own floor to call their own. We could easily walk to the beach or the boardwalk. I highly recommend this to families or large groups!

We had a great family vacation in this spacious condo! Perfect location - you could park your car and walk to everything you need to go to! Beach, restaurants, shops, icecream, and the board walk! Can't beat the location - we will definitely return!

Second time staying hear. Great sleeping arrangements, clean, kitchen has all needed items.
Cons: outdoor grill is terrible, indoor temp was not what we would have preferred. Owner did decrease by 1 degree and that was not really enough- in fairness I didn’t ask again,elevator door won’t stay closed on its own and you had to hold it shut so it wouldn’t come loose and stop.
Overall- great place, space is what we needed, safe area. Only 2 desires would be working grill and cooler indoor temp.

Perfect place for a large family. Very close to the beach so short walk. 2 bedrooms on all 3 floors, one of which is a child’s playroom combo bedroom. Pool close to unit as well. Many places to eat within walking distance as well as activities. Hopefully we will be able to rent again next year for our family beach vacation. I would definitely recommend this rental.

we stayed here as a group of mom friends and our kids (age 3-10) and had a blast. everyone had their own rooms to retreat to and put kids to bed, while having the kitchen and living room to gather together. the layout made it easy to put kids to bed then all hang out together. Easy walking distance to the boardwalk, restaurants, and a nice lake to walk around. The beach was a very short walk with easy access and the pool/outdoor rinse shower we're perfect. The only thing we missed was not having a large balcony, everything else was great!! The garage is large, the fridge in the garage was perfect, access was easy, and the owner was very communicative. the house was clean and comfortable.

Great location we walked to dinner, boardwalk and beach.
The listing said 5 bedrooms and 5 bath. Really it is 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. The 5th bedroom has no door and has 2 tiny beds for small children.
Overall the place was fine and we enjoyed our stay.

Renting the condo was easy, checking in and getting problems worked out was another thing!!! No was there to check us in, one of the condo doors was unlocked, come to find out that doors lock was broken, we never got the remote door app to work for the main door or garage opener. The outlets in all of the bathrooms except 1 did not work, one of the single beds frame was broken and a guest was hurt because of this!!! Sink stoppers in two bathrooms and 1 stopper on the 1st floor had to be removed so the water would go down!!! On the 2nd day the toilet flushing handle broke so they could only flush by keeping the chain out of the water tank!!!! On the 4th floor the kitchen and living room were updated, but the screen door on the balcony had a large tear and a good size hole, there was a low cabinet opposite the island that had a broken door that when a family member opened it the door fell on her foot and was injured!!!
I tried to communicate with the owner about the locks and garage door opener he did call me back, but nothing was done. I’m sorry I quit trying to contact him, but I was there to enjoy my family and not do his job!!! We did have a wonderful time together, just disappointed by these problems!!!! I hope they are fixed before the next guests arrive!!!

This property has it all. Walking distance to beautiful Carolina Beach, the boardwalk, tons of shops and restaurants.
The house layout is unique with 4 stories and an elevator provides convenient access for those who can't navigate staircases.
There were spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, along with common areas to enjoy family meals and games.
Bedrooms included ceiling fans and TVs. Wifi was adequate.
Wai was responsive and friendly whenever I had questions. I would definitely stay here again.

The condo was advertised with a washer and dryer. We stayed the two weeks without a dryer. The "clean" towels had pubic hairs on them and the sheets were dirty as well. The elevator doors come open while you are riding in it which causes the elevator to shut down. I was shut in for about 10 minutes with no air condition. I thought I was going to pass out. The owner claims that we were responsible for the folding accordion door for opening and causing the shut down. The night before we left, I was in the elevator by my self standing in the middle of the elevator when the accordion door opened and the elevator shut down between the 3rd and 4th floor. The next day I had to go up and down 4 flights of stairs to get my car loaded up. It was quite a task for a 70 year old man, let alone someone younger. The electrical outlets in the bathrooms did not work and some of the lights didn't either. When I called to get things straightened out, all the owner would talk about was all the taxes he had to pay and for how much he had to pay to have repair people come to the condo. To top it off, the HOA president told our grandkids, six of them from ages 5 to 9 to stop making noise because she was working from home. They were shooting a ball in a basket ball net which was provided by the HOA. It is not a kid friendly association. You would do well to avoid this place.

Not what we thought are vacation would be!
We have been going to Kure/Carolina Beach for over 10 years. Love this area!
We have stayed in this complex before with a different renter but needed a larger rental so we found this listing. The unit was in a nice area, close to beach, park and boardwalk.
A few things we had issues with
The house being controlled by owner and WiFi
Door lock was reset by day three and code did not work for use to get into the unit. Door on deck did not lock so we used this door to come and go.
Garage door was opened and closed by a app on phone that did not work all the time.
Air conditioner was controlled by owner! Lock boxes were on each floor and the air was set at 73! That is hot at the beach and uncomfortable to sleep.
Linens were included but the towels were rags and mix matched. We are glad we brought our own!
Lights were on timers and you were asked not to unplug or change. In one of the bathroom there were eight lights but only four light bulbs. Each room had light bulbs missing! Not sure if it was due to saving money?
Since the house was controlled by the owner we did not feel comfortable. We felt like we were being watched.
There were some other issues but they were normal when renting.
When we did reach out to the owner about the air he did turn the top floor down to 71 degrees. Then we noticed it was changed again when we got up. I had to reach out again and ask for the air to be turned down. On the third day my brother in law asked for the owners number and text him about the air in all the floors. We did not pay all this money to be hot on our vacation. The air was controlled a little bit better after that.
We would think twice about renting this unit again!

Summer fun with family
Weather was great. Location was perfect. Elevator broke down but it was fixed in a reasonable amount of time. We all needed the exercise on the stairs. The fourth floor was large enough for eating and playing games.

Great location; odd penny pinching.
It’s a great location and perfect for an on the go vacation. The property owner was responsive to the questions/problems we had. However; one thing that was pretty odd was the remote control of the thermostat. It took a few complaints to get the thermostat on each floor lowered. The property manager eventually turned each floor to 76f - 74f which isn’t overly comfortable, especially while on vacation.

We had a wonderful time! The location is great with close access to the beach, and the famous Carolina Beach Boardwalk. Also, walking distance to restaurants, and shops. It was a great vacation!

Having the different floors gave everyone their own space. It was close enough to the beach even the little kids didn't mind the walk. If I could give any constructive criticism it would be that we could have used a few more hooks in the bathrooms to hang wet towels/suits after coming back in from the pool or beach. Also (and I'm sure it's due to Covid) there wasn't a propane tank at the community grill, but were able to use a charcoal grill the owner had in the garage. (Plus some of the neighbors said we could use theirs). Trying to get a date for next year to book again

It was basically presented like were stole them. When the linen lady gave us more there was dust all over them. We had to wash them before use. The house was not clean. There was stains on the comforters, cobwebs in the corners, and rings and the sinks. The furniture was well used. The twin beds were old and couldn’t hold the weight of my 11 year old much less teenage boys. The bar stools weren’t tall enough to use. We weren’t able to touch the thermostat. It was blazing hot in there all week. All the outlets in the bathrooms didn’t work. All the sinks and showers would stop up. The kitchen didn’t have basic necessities or storage. The biggest plus was an extra fridge in the garage. We received a call from the owner that the HOA called to report us grilling out in the back. There was no instructions on where to grill out. I’m really surprised because there is a ton of rules. We never felt “homey” during our stay. I could go on and on, but needless to say we would not recommend this house. The room sizes, location and amenities were great.

Need to update info (paper rules were from 2018, no garage door opener or bag for linens), no dish towels for kitchen or hand towels for 1/2 bath, need trash can in garage, needs more storage for vacationers food stuff (I would suggest 2 large bakers rack in kitchen) . Den furniture a bit to minimal and uncomfortable.

Overall good. The refrigerator broke after a power outage.we had to use the frig In the garage. The owner finally got some to come look at the issue but wasn't fixed before we left. The location was great. The property was nice

This condo was very nice. Location was wonderful for beach park and boardwalk. Our only disappointment was that the owners of the whole complex decided not to spend the money and do the steps necessary to keep the pool open for guests that had rented under the idea that the pool was open already this summer(during same reopening stage 2). Wai responded quickly and addressed any concerns promptly and Is giving us $200 of our weekly rent back due to the pool closure(but would’ve rather had the pool access). Would recommend for large families or groups. Rating would have been 5 stars if pool was open.

Great Location!
My family and I really enjoyed our stay in Carolina Beach. The size of this rental was huge, It was almost like everyone had their own floor. We loved the location and the cleanliness, you are within easy walking distance to almost everything at/near the boardwalk. Wai answered my messages very promptly before our stay and during, he was very easy to work with. The pool was closed due to COVID-19, which Wai had no control over, but that was still disappointing for the small kids in our family. We also missed having a large balcony to sit on, these condos are very, very nice but the balconies not even really big enough to sit on. That is also at no fault of the property owner. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and will consider it in the future!

Everything was great ranging from amenities, space and location. The only disappointment was that the pool was closed due to covid 19. When a minor issue arose, Wai was there to help immediately. Thanks for letting us stay in your condo.

location was the one good thing
The location of the property was wonderful.
Unfortunately the condo was not as wonderful. The pots had to be scrubbed and the dishes washed before we could use them. There were few kitchen utensils and silverware (this condo was advertised to house 15 people). There were no broom or potholders or even one extra role of toilet paper. The floors of the bathrooms had not been cleaned.
The water smelled of sulfur. We had to let the water in the showers run a minute so we wouldn’t smell the sulfur while showering. We were hesitant to use the tap water for drinking, so bought water.
And finally we were charged for damage to a screen we did not cause.
We will not stay here again!

Beautiful family friendly condo in the perfect location!!!
Our family spent a week here and we loved it. It was such a perfect location for our very outdoorsy family. We were so close to everything that we were able to walk everywhere with even the youngest of our bunch (2 & 4 year olds). We rode bikes around the lake, went to the beach every day, followed by the beautiful pool. Grilled out a few nights at the pool as well. We took morning walks to the boardwalk for Britts and evening walks to the carnival.
The house was very clean and had all of the kitchen items that we typically have to drag down with us. The keyless entry was a perfect touch, no fussing with your pockets or beach bags to search for the key in the farthest corners of the bag covered in sand.
Wai was super friendly and responded incredibly quickly with answers to any questions I had before arriving.
Our family had been staying on Carolina Beach for 15+ years and this was hands down the best place we have ever stayed. We didn't want to leave and hope to book this again in the future.

Property manager was VERY rude and unconcerned over property issues.
When family arrived on Saturday evening, the air conditioning was not working on the 1st level. The property manager claimed it would take days to get someone out to look at it because it was a "sleepy beach town." (It was not until Wednesday evening someone arrived.) The filters looked like they hadn't been cleaned/replaced in a long time. We cleaned them and finally figured out ourselves how to empty the backed up water causing the air not to work. Meanwhile, a leak in the wall between units caused the lower bathroom to become unusable when workers cut a hole in the ceiling and draped plastic that kept filling with water. This property owner apparently does not have a property management team to take care of issues . We have rented properties about a dozen times in the past few years and have never had delays getting problems resolved. We also had to make our own beds which we didn't realize until arriving around midnight. Linens were just left in the room. I would avoid this property.

Great place to stay
This place is perfect for large families with kids. There are plenty of options for sleeping arrangements and the owner is very easy to work with. I would recommend some blinds on the 4th floor as it gets pretty hot up there but we made do. The elevator is a great amenity. Wait responded to me quickly when I had Wi-Fi issues and general questions. Will definitely be back next year

Great location - walkable to everything you need
Great location - easy walk to the beach, the boardwalk, Britt's donuts and even a small grocery. Very new unit, well maintained, lots of space, and lots of little extras made for a pleasant stay. Having 4 living levels plus the garage enabled our extended family lots of privacy and quiet when needed. The in-unit elevator was frequently appreciated.
One bedroom with twin beds has no closet but we shared the closet from the other bedroom on that level. The second bedroom with twin beds has no closet, bathroom, or traditional door so we had the youngest kids fall asleep in the other bedroom on that level then moved the kids when their parents were ready for bed. One walk-in closet is huge and can easily handle a porta-crib or a toddler bed. We put the late sleepers on the lower level and the early risers on the upper level since the kitchen and living room are on the top floor.
Locally - Britt's Donuts is worth multiple visits, Nollie’s Tacos has a great variety of tacos and amazing nachos, Kate’s has good breakfasts (especially their grits), Michael’s is our favorite seafood restaurant when the wait is reasonable, Fish Bites is our favorite for more interesting seafood dishes, and the Fat Pelican is a very fun bar. We think that Carolina Beach tap water has a slightly odd taste, so we always bring a Brita filter pitcher for water.
Overall, a pleasant stay at a great location and we barely used our car.
