Great location. Stairs up to flat with luggage could have been a problem but friendly restaurant owners carried our luggage up to the flat. Great spot for sight seeing and some very good restaurants. A lovely week.

This was a great apartment for our week in Rethymno! Lots of space for my husband, 3 teens and myself. The apartment was clean and bright, with great people watching down below from the living room. I loved walking out the door and being immediately part of the old town scene. It could get a little loud in the evening, but the bedrooms are well placed so as to not be impacted. As noted in the listing, parking a car is tough, but we learned how to navigate this after the first couple of days. Thanks to this family for hosting us! I’d definitely recommend and would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay in this property. The apartment is well-equipped with all you need for a comfortable holiday. It was perfectly clean on arrival. The decor has a pleasant Cretan feel and is tastefully furnished. The kitchen has anything you need with some unforeseen extras. The terrace is great for sitting out in the morning and the front mini balcony is good for people watching. The location is perfect for the old town shops and restaurants. It is only a 15 minute stroll to the beach. Beach towels are a welcome addition as it saves on packing. The aircon is modern, silent and suitably placed where it is needed. The owner has clearly thought through what is needed and provided an excellent holiday base in this lovely old town. We were made to feel very welcome.I can recommend it without reservation.
