A pochi passi al Sand Castle Playground e il lago di Kai, Kastaways è un adorabile medie dimensioni casa ideale per una vacanza in famiglia o cadere fuga. Grande veranda coperta conduce alla porta d'ingresso in cui fate un passo in una grande stanza colorata con soggiorno aperto concetto-ha un camino a gas-sala da pranzo con un tavolo per 6 e un altro 4 al bancone della cucina totale di 10 posti a sedere per la famiglia di consumare i pasti insieme. La cucina �� dotata di ripiani in granito, acciaio rubano elettrodomestici e tutti i comfort. Lungo un breve corridoio è una camera accogliente con un divano-grande per la nonna o un ospite tardo-arrivo. Un bagno si trova anche al primo piano fuori dalla stanza dormeuse. Fuori dalla porta sul retro è un ponte con una griglia e tavolo da pranzo incorniciata da dune erbe e alberi per la privacy in più. Kastaways secondo livello dispone di una suite enorme padronale, annesso bagno con letto matrimoniale e zona salotto che si apre su una veranda coperta con vista Childers Lane-perfetto per il caffè del mattino. Inoltre, due camere da letto matrimoniale spaziose che condividono un bagno sono anche su questo piano. Questa casa può ospitare 9 con 1 letto king size, 2 regine 1 divano letto, e divano letto.

We rented Kastaways for 4 days for our son’s wedding in Michigan City, Indiana. It was everything that the pictures showed it to be. It was cozy, comforting & rustic looking. There were enough towels (no need to bring your own). Our Keurig didn’t work & the staff had it replaced within a couple of hours. The staff was very helpful & extremely professional. Highly recommended!!

We had a great time at Beachwalk as always! This is our 4th time visiting, and first time in Kastaways. It definitely could use some TLC and updates, but it was great for us and the kids. There were only broken beach chairs, but the office was able to give us one which helped. It had pretty much everything we needed in the kitchen and to do laundry - although we did find it helpful to bring a bunch of our own towels (beach and bath) b/c there is only one towel per guest and no beach towels. There was also no golf cart included in the rental (first time we've had that at BW) and we had to rent one from an outside company which was a bit of a hassle, but it worked out. Beachwalk has done some really nice improvements throughout and we always enjoy our time here. If you are looking for a casual, not super fancy house, that will meet your basic needs - this is it! We had our family of four, and then a few friends w/kids stay for a few days as well.

The home was clean except the upper deck was very dirty and needed wiped down and mopped. Landscape maintenance around the home was very poor and we didn’t even use the back deck due to not much room and dirty around outside of home. Home on inside was clean and comfortable. ThanksCorey

Michigan City is a fun getaway place if you live in Indy. Just a short two and a half hour drive to beautiful Lake Michigan. Beachwalk is adorable little neighborhood, kid friendly or relaxing if no kids. The cutest zoo ever is just down the street. Landed butcher shop is a step back in time and has the best meat anywhere. Kastaway was perfect for what we needed. Good size bedrooms and plenty of communal space. The only negative was parking. But a little walk never hurts anyone. And the carpet is getting a bit worn out. All in all, a perfect weekend.

Fifth year at Beachwalk. Kastaways is on a busier street than we usually book, which provided for some great front porch watching. Our golf cart was "borrowed" one day and the Beachwalk staff went above and beyond to return it to us asap. We had a wonderful week. We will be back!

So cute & comfy for our fam of 5! Walkable to all amenities; golf cart would be better. Has all the things u need. Pros: Comfy beds; plenty of pillows, kitchen supplies; Netflix; 6 beach chairs. Upgrades could be: full length mirror, black out drapes, more comfy porch seating.

Kastaways is in a great community which has a lot of amenities to offer and wonderful proximity to the beach. The size of the home was perfect for our group. Overall, it was a good experience however, for the amount we paid there were a few things that we expected to be in better attention to detail by the cleaning crew. 1) Dust and cobwebs 2) Dusty fans - the ceiling fans have not been cleaned months - we had to clean each of them before turning them on. Everything else was clean - but for the amount we paid for the week - I would expect this to be taken care of before we arrived. The carpet wasn't in the best of shape - maybe needed a good cleaning.
