La cucina ben arredata è un perfetto complimento per il gazebo grigliate. Goditi i pasti nella sala da pranzo, al bar o goditi la brezza serale sulla veranda protetta! La camera da letto principale si trova anche all'ultimo piano, con un grande bagno piastrellato e una terrazza privata. Inoltre, dall'ultimo piano puoi avvicinarti di soppiatto all'accogliente Ship's Watch per rilassarti, leggere o fare un sonnellino pomeridiano! Il secondo piano ha un'altra camera matrimoniale con bagno privato. Inoltre situato al secondo piano sono due camere da letto supplementari che condividono un bagno completo. Tutte le camere hanno porte scorrevoli in vetro che si aprono su grandi ponti. Il piano terra ha un divano letto matrimoniale, mezzo bagno, angolo cottura (con frigorifero, forno a microonde, lavello e armadi), televisore e lettore dvd. There’s a lot with the cleaning service that is lacking. We also only got one parking pass and after contacting the owners no solution to a second pass was relayed. There were items that didn’t work or were broken. There were just several items that stacked up for us that made for a disappointing trip.

Everything the owners stated was 100% accurate. We were 8 adults and 2 children and everyone had a fantastic and relaxing time. Any issues where immediately rectified and there were very few. We absolutely loved it.

This was our second stay in this home. It’s such a wonderful place to stay. Everything was perfect! This house had everything that you could possibly need to ensure a pleasant stay. The kitchen is well equipped with pots/ pans/ silverware, and everything needed to prepare meals. They provide nice chairs on each deck, It’s so relaxing to sit on them especially in the evenings listening to the ocean waves. The beach is a short walk away, we really enjoyed walking to it several times a day. If you just want to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of a busy life and be at a place that you can get some real rest and relaxation this is it!
The horses came through the yard everyday, it was so interesting to watch them.
Michelle is very quick to respond to any questions that you may have. We had a small issue one day and she was very quick to respond back ensuring that everything was all right. We had a variety of age groups, it was perfect for all of us! Don’t hesitate to stay here, you won’t regret it!

The house was nice and just a block from the beach. The description was very accurate. First time staying up that far north. Only thing I did t like was traveling up and down beach to get to any stores or ice. Because the fire station ice machine was broke. The whole week we were there.

The property itself definitely needs some updates on the outside but inside was cozy. We seen horses daily. It takes no time to drive to the beach. We loved the deck coming off the living room where you have a beautiful view of everything.

It was everything we hoped and more. Weather was beautiful, wild horses were stunning and we spotted them daily. The ocean and the beach were pristine. House had ample space, we enjoyed both the pool and the hot tub. The decks provided amazing views. And we made memories to last a lifetime. We definitely recommend!

What a lovely, family-friendly home. You can tell there have been some great memories made here. There's something for everyone to do. We drove down to the beach once daily to bring the beach chairs and set up a tent, but it's definitely not a long walk. My father-in-law is not a huge fan of the beach but he was fishing, grilling, and the pool. He would have kayaked but he recently had knee surgery. We saw wild horses pretty much every day. We went to the fire station to get ice (life-saver!!) and we drove up to where you can find the best seashells....thank you for all the suggestions!

This was a bucket list vacation for us to stay in the OBX and see the wild horses roaming the beach. We had a great time exploring everything Corolla, Duck, and Nags Head had to offer. We watched the most beautiful sunrises in the mornings with the wild horses right there with us. We dug for sand fleas to use as bait for fishing (we didn't catch anything, but the kids had fun). We saw crabs and dolphins and we even saw a guy catch a stingray. We toured the lighthouse, rented a boat and explored the sound in Duck, ate at some great restaurants and hangout at the beach and pool. The house is located in a great spot that's far enough away from the busier part of the beach. As reference, we walked to Virginia beach that was approximately 2 miles. This property has everything you would need to have a great vacation. Sun, beach, pool, and wild horses what more do you need?!

All had issues driving with 4WD. Your vehicle must have good ground clearance but you can still get stuck. We cried due to stress and damaged vehicles. My friend had a truck and it was still stressful. All vehicles besides truck were damaged. My father in law had to get a tow on way home due to beach driving conditions. We could hardly exit beach and it wasn’t high tide and ocean was already covering most of beach and we drove in 2ft of ocean water. Couldn’t sleep last night due to wind banging near window. Here are some other things you should be aware of:
-pool and outside area has trash and dirty socks
-we saw 2 snakes so keep your eyes peeled
-deep cleaning needs to be done inside cabinets and drawers, dust and debris under and behind beds, door to pantry is sticky, we cleaned trash can from disgusting debris and sticky hand prints all over tv
-water would shut off at most inconvenient times showering, shaving, washing hands and water pressure would disappear at times
-trundle bed was so squeaky with every move I had to stuff blankets to get it to stop to sleep
-my friend almost got in an accident on top of dune to get to house when another vehicle came down it and then they got stuck after stopping.
-confined to house due to driving conditions
-outside of house needs painted and power wash
-host was not gracious to pro rate so we could rent off beach and enjoy rest of vacay due to listing not specifically stating vehicle type or rough terrain of beach

The property is extremely remote. The driving conditions are very rough. Would recommend a truck or jeep, otherwise run the risk of damaging your vehicle. It is a solid 45 minute drive down the beach to get to civilization. Keep in mind you have to time leaving based on high/low tide. No one will deliver anything in this area given the rough terrain. The house could certainly use some updating. The outside is rusted and worn which is not reflected in listing photos. The interior could use a deep cleaning. It was a tight fit with 6 adults and 3 kids. Unfortunately, there was a dead bird under the sofa which we discovered while playing on the floor with our children. After a very long travel day we retired to our bedrooms only to discover none of the beds were made. The pool is nice but is not heated so we could not use it much. Unfortunately, toilet paper and paper towels were not provided. We did feel confined to the house especially on days when weather was bad. The owner did communicate during our stay and had maintenance come to the property to fix water pressure. Additionally, we requested more towels which were provided. Maintenance also informed us not to use water between 1-5 am as sewage water will flow through, which was not communicated by owner. I think you can find significantly better value and amenities at another location.

This is such a beautiful house. This is our second time staying here and it was great. Great pool hot tub access to the beach. Everything is as described. Kitchen has everything you need. Pool toys chairs and do much more. Will definitely stay here again. Michelle is a wonderful owner and so responsive. We had a blast.

From day 1 communication with the owner was amazing. Always a quick response to any questions leading up and during our stay.
The property is perfect for a quick walk to the beach and rides to see horses ( which we saw many).
Pool was lots of fun and the main deck was perfect fro breakfast and nighttime chats.
Rooms were great and roomy bathrooms.

The property was as advertised. Everything was clean, the bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice and the beds were comfortable. The pool and hot tub were clean and we enjoyed both very much. We took advantage of the outdoor grilling area multiple nights. I would highly recommended this house and would definitely rent it in the future

Amazing Trip
We had a fantastic time at Bikini Bottom! Our group included two families with tweens/teens and everyone loved the place. The layout was perfect, and I especially loved the front deck and side porch, both of which had a view of the ocean. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. The pool and hot tub were also very clean! Our group enjoyed the two person kayak almost everyday, and we saw horses in the yard several times during the week also! Everything you could want in an OBX vacation!

Bikini Bottom is a MUST stay!
If you want the full 4x4 section of OBX experience this is the house to stay at! An easy 5 minute walk to the beach! You can also sit on any deck and hear the birds and the ocean. Be sure to catch the sunrise from the top deck, it's beautiful!! You can also see the wild horses often, they even came for a visit onto the property. The only issue we had was the air mattress would not stay blown up (we did try to patch it) and 2 of the beds seem to be broken (we tried our best to fix them). We had 12 people and this was the perfect house for us!! The pool and hot tub were amazing!!! We will totally keep this house in mind for our next OBX trip! 💜

Wild horses and the beach!
We chose Bikini Bottom for the horses and really enjoyed them. The house had everything we needed for our group of 5 to be comfortable and enjoy a week at the beach. The only downside was the drive to the house. We have a Toyota Highlander SUV all wheel drive and can put it into 4-wheel drive. If I were to stay in this part of the outer banks again, I would only drive in a true 4-wheel drive vehicle. The trucks and jeeps drove on the beach effortlessly. If you have the right vehicle or can rent one, I'd definitely recommend this property especially if you want to be in a less busy part of the Outer Banks. The owner was so helpful and welcoming!

Awesome Beach Trip!
Bikini Bottom was a great getaway trip for my family and friends. We wanted to experience riding on the beach and unplug from work. This remote property is perfect for that and more. The beach was clean and beautiful - we got great sunrise photos. WE ALSO LOVED THE HORSES! We saw them on the beach and during morning walks every day we were there. The house was very clean upon arrival, and it was nice to have the pool and hot tub (both of which were sanitized twice during our stay). All of the beds were comfy, the kitchen was well-stocked (we never went out to eat - we cooked dinner each night), and having an extra fridge downstairs was great for our party of 8 adults. We did venture out to see the lighthouse (worth it!) and to get fresh seafood (also worth it!) We went to the firehouse often to get ice for our coolers, and they have a sweet little t-shirt shop. We all bought things to help support them. You definitely need to follow ALL of the directions provided by the hosts, including having a 4x4, lowering tire pressure while driving on the beach and understanding the property is away from the hustle and bustle of busy beach areas in Corolla and Duck. We recommended getting to the house before dark as the mile markers are hard to see at night. Michelle was an amazing host and very responsive to any questions we had. We've been to a lot of beaches and this experience was definitely our favorite. We highly recommend Bikini Bottom if you are looking for an amazing week with family and friends away from it all!

Bikini bottom review
We had a wonderful time! We had 4 adults and 5 children. the house was lovely, clean and well equipped . Perfect location for driving or walking to the beach. The horses were much more plentiful then we remembered.. Our host was gracious and available when we had questions. We loved our time there and highly recommend Bikini bottom for family vacations. Thank you Michelle for a vacation that we will never forget!

This was a good quite place for families. We enjoyed the 4x4 drive to the beach. We saw horses almost everyday in the yard or around the house. The cleaners did an okay job there was some spots we had to clean ourselves but overall it was a great experience for the whole family. Michelle was great to communicate with she was very helpful!

Quaint home, lovely area! Multiple generations in our group from 10-78 years of age enjoyed our time. It was a first for us and a fun adventure driving on the sand, parking on the beach, and seeing the horses.

From A to Z, we could not have found better hosts or a better home to stay. Just a short walk to the beach, we saw horses daily and enjoyed the sweeping wrap around porches and this love filled home. Michelle is absolutely the best, and this home is for anyone wanting to get away from the world. We still miss it and already dream to be there again, one day 💙

We picked the last week of March going into April because was the week our daughter had Spring Break in high school. It was too cold to be on the beach that week even though it is normly low 70's according to what I read ahead of time, it was more like low 50's. No one's fault but Mother Nature.
The pictures of the outside of the house looked better than what it actually was. It was somewhat run down in the outside. The inside pics were actually worse than what it was. It
was lovely inside and it was stocked with everything that one would need to make good meals. We brought kitchen stuff down that was never used because they had everything!
The porches were nice and perfect for a sunrise if bundled up!
We loved the hot tub especially because we did not have the ocean because of the cold.
We had to rent a Jeep and so glad we did. You definitely need 4 wheel drive to drive down the beach. Fun in itself!

You definitely need 4 wheel drive to drive down the beach. Fun in itself! Not a lot opened or to do at this time of year which was fine because we just wanted to be away from everything.

This was an excellent vacation! We couldn't be happier. The home had everything we needed and not once did we think that we didn't have something right at our finger tips. The entire trip was planned and thrown together in two weeks and the host was more than responsive and helpful! Throughout the week whenever I had a question, Michele was quick to respond and help us out. The directions and information for how to get on the 4x4 beach and locate the home were perfect. The short walk over the dune to the sunrise each morning was amazing. The kids had a blast playing in the ocean and at the beach. The shell hunting was great and we saw so many dolphins swimming by in the ocean. The horses were scarce but we were lucky to see one on our last morning there! This was definitely an experience we will never forget and one that made or first trip to OBX amazing! We can't wait to come back! I would highly recommend.~Sarah, Faith and family
