Fantastic location. The apartment is the entire second floor that you can see above the arches (2 windows front - 4 on side - furthest inland has little balcony). Beautiful decor, lovely high ceilings, nice shutters. TV didn’t work when we first arrived but this was sorted very quickly by the local team - so we were able to continue with the World Cup! Villefranche is a gem - perfect location, short walk to nice beach, easy for train station to get anywhere else along the coast, but a tranquil haven compared to the busyness of Nice and Monaco. We loved it.
Would be nice to have a/c in all bedrooms - only in lounge and master bedroom.
Wished we didn’t have to leave so soon!

Great setting& appartment well set up with comfortable facilities, bathrooms etc
Front door very awkward to open! 4 individual friends so would have liked beds set up as singles, no single bed linen, no spare towels. A welcome pack of milk (for the English!) & bread etc would be helpful as shops may be closed at arrival time.
We were happy to strip beds & take out rubbish but would be inconvenient if had to leave early. Surely this should be included in the cleaner's role.

The location was wonderful and the apartment itself was spacious and pretty.
The air conditioning was terrible. The one in the large living room did not work well enough. Two other bedrooms had no air conditioning. Fans did not work. The refrigerator did not keep food cold. The host didn’t supply basics like toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags and beach towels.
