We were so underwhelmed with our stay for my son’s first trip to beach. The amount of construction, debris, nails, noise, rude construction workers was so disappointing. The chairs in our room were literally rotting with rust leaking all over the place, it was a mess. There was sand in our sheets. We were aware there was some remodeling going on but not to this extent. There were 0 amenities available - deceiving from the advertisement of this rental, which we were made to believe this is a “resort property.” We were at least hoping for a place to get coffee. The pool was warm but had garbage floating around in it everyday. I would never bring my family to stay here again.

Stayed here with my husband and 2 kids and loved our stay! Owner communicated all details of check in and out well in advance and was available for questions. The condo was clean, comfortable and exactly as described. Would love to visit again!

We stayed here 4 nights- my husband and I, his parents, and my 4 year old. We ended up getting there at 12:45, and since check in is not until 4 we went ahead to let them know we were there so we could get our parking pass and wristbands so we would have access to the beach while we waited for our room to be ready. The immediately informed housekeeping and our room was ready 30 minutes later! I know that won’t always be the case and we checked in on a Monday in late August so I think it is more off season, but the fact that they worked hard to get us in our room early was great. And as far as the property owners, any and all contact I had with them was very pleasant and I always got a quick response. The room was clean, very updated in decor, and just all around a lovely place to stay. The beach is literally right out the door past the pools, and while the drinks may be a bit pricey (as I imagine they all are in that area) the tiki bar was a perfect addition to have onsite! Do bring your own laundry detergent and dishwashing detergent though, as none is provided. Places I’ve stayed before usually offer 1 or 2 pods but there weren’t any here, which is no big deal, as there are plenty of grocery stores and a Walmart near by!

We had our family vacation here and couldn’t been happier. The condo was very clean and looked as advertised. With our 2 children 5yo & 2yo this location was perfect. You have the choice of 3 pools. Our favorite was the zero entry pool with our young kids. The tiki bar was great to have, and all the food from the cafe was amazing. I loved that it was an elevator ride right down to the pools and a very short walk to the beach.

Very nice place to stay at! I wish there more elevators and more than 6 parking spots to load and unload considering there’s 20 floors in the condo but that’s not the property managers fault!

The condo was beautiful and clean and easily held our family. Access to the beach was really easy, right out the door of the building. The beach front was not crowded and it was family friendly. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone staying in Destin!

This condo was everything pictured and was the perfect stay! Added surprise was extra beach chairs that we used for early morning shell hunts and evenings on the beach after the rentals had been put away. One of the nicest condos just looking through the listings for Pelican, perfect location to local eateries and gift shops. Pool areas and beach were just minutes from the condo! Can’t wait for next year!

The condo is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It is beachfront with beautiful ocean views. It’s in a great location and walking distance to several great restaurants and activities. It’s clean and all staff we encountered was friendly. The owners even left a gift for us to remember our stay. I highly recommend this condo for your Destin vacation!

We were very happy with the apartment. It was clean well stocked but not overly and everything worked as it should. Its beach location was perfect and we spent many hours enjoying the beach and clear warm sea. We had no need to contact the property manager as we had no complaints.We will definitely return as soon as we can.

We had a great stay at the Pelican Beach Resort. Sandy's condo was super clean and beautifully decorated! Although, we did lose water for a few hours one day due to a water line break, the resort was quick to repair the issue. We would definitely go back.

We had such a GREAT time, we rebooked again for next year! Probably the best time we’ve had at this property. Condo was SUPER CUTE & CLEAN! Loved how the towels were folded so cute! Closely located to the elevator to the cafe and not too bad of a walk to the beach.

The condo was exactly like the pictures, absolutely perfect! Everything was clean and there were plenty of towels. Very easy check in with the front desk. We loved the views from the balcony and the quick access to the beach. We’re looking forward to our next stay!

Emerald coast
Very nice and clean, updated condo rental. Owners easy to communicate with. First time to emerald coast. Absolutely beautiful! Condo well supplied, difficult when you travel to bring all “beach” supplies. Would have been nice to have a small cooler and maybe chairs for beach. Unable to rent we’re all rented one of our days. Truly enjoyed our stay, would definitely rent again.

This condo looks exactly like the pictures. It was extremely comfortable and pleasant and was definitely our home a way from home. We would happily book this room again.

The room was very clean. It had everything we needed. The view was beautiful flour room! The only thing we didn’t like was they wouldn’t let us use on beach chairs or take our beach bag onto the beach.

It would have been great if sand toys were offered so we didn’t have to buy our own. We’ve stayed in condos where there were toys, umbrellas, and chairs we could borrow.
We went during Spring Break 2022, and all the local restaurants were packed.
The beach service had 5 rows of umbrellas and chairs, so we were crammed up against the dunes.
Though it’s no fault of the actual room/owners, we will probably book a smaller building for our next Destin vacation.
