This home is beyond perfect! The layout for our family was just right. We spent most of our time lazing by the pool, watching the surfers in the bay and the gorgeous sunsets. It was very clean and well stocked with supplies; towels etc. but Safeway (my recommendation) was only 20 minutes away for a grocery shop. We walked two minutes down the road to rent some surfboards and also snorkeled in the bay (snorkels are in the storage units by the gate). We will definitely be back to this gorgeous home in the most idyllic setting!

All went according to plan, this lovely place is just as advertised. Definitely on the water, the crashing waves are loud.Worked well for two couples, although the pool house is just a bed and bath, no seating area, but a half fridge and a coffee station, plus the washer and dryer.The pool is cool and dreamy for floating in and the April sunsets were gorgeous.Very well appointed with dishes, cooking utensils, towels, pool floats, and the barbecue worked well.There’s not air-conditioning, but the trade winds and the fans kept us cool.Extremely responsive property management, we never had any issues or concerns, but knew we could contact them at any moment if necessary.We will be happily remembering this lovely vacation place for a long, long time.

The host was sooo responsive with any issues. The view and location could not be better. The house was fully stocked and wonderful.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our recent stay at Turtle Rock was a mixed experience. The property is beautiful and well depicted by the listing photos. Beaches, shopping and restaurants are all close by. It was nice to be able to watch surfers from the lanai.
There were, however, some unanticipated inconveniences associated with our stay. The house is wedged between the ocean and a busy street. The noise from both of these make sleeping difficult when the windows are left open to compensate for the lack of air conditioning. The bedroom window coverings allow quite a lot of light in so sleeping late to make up for a restless night wasn’t a real option.
The house is not appointed in a manner consistent with its price point. The caliber of the bedding and kitchen equipment were more in line with a nicely equipped student apartment than a luxury rental.
Although there were many good things about the house, we felt the drawbacks outweighed the advantages.
