A couple friends, my dog and I stayed for almost a week. Incredible view, very nice, well stocked with everything we needed (including dog bowls, bed, etc). Vigorous, but fantansitic walk to and from the beach. Quiet and convenient location. May be my all time favorite rental on the Oregon Coast.

We loved our stay in Brian’s home. Check in was seamless, home was clean, comfortable, and spacious, and we loved the views and location of the property. We appreciated that this was a pet friendly home and they were well stocked with dog towels, bowls, and even dog beds - which felt above and beyond! Communication was easy and Brian was incredibly responsive and accommodating. We will absolutely be back here for a stay in the future!

Enjoyed everything about this home! Accommodated 6 of us perfectly. Excellent Ocean View!

Amazing home for gathering. The views were beautiful, from the deck chairs or in the spacious living room/dining room. The kitchen was well equipped with all our cooking needs. Generous with towels, wam blankets & large bathrooms. Will definitely stay again.

House was very comfortable. Lucked out on the weather and the deck was perfect. Sunsets were fantastic. Although a bit of an exercise to reach the beach (need to get to the gym), the dunes and beach on both sides were wonderful. Would book again if available. Thank you to the host. You have a beautiful beach house.

Great home, but would not recommend to elderly or people that aren't physically fit.

Great house with a unique location that gives you relative privacy, great views, and access to cute beach town. Well stocked and provided. Loved all the king size beds, large kitchen, and hot tub! Lots of stairs, but that gets you the view! Would be difficult location for anyone with mobility issues. Easier to drive to beach if you have 4 wheel drive then walking down the large hill from the house.

We have stayed in numerous houses in Pacific City and I think this one is my favorite so far!
Even though the house is right off the main street going into town, it feels very secluded when you are inside. The view from the top deck is absolutely beautiful. We watched the sunset from the large windows in the main living area every night. I had no issues with the wifi which I had to use for remote work while we were there. House was cozy, clean. I have to echo a previous reviewer about the master bed it is quite hard but it was ok just for the week. We took the trail from the back gate only out to the small clearing that overlooks the beach, we didn’t go further but the owner left very good directions if you decide to take the trail all the way down to he beach. It’s not long but it is a bit treacherous! The lower deck off the second floor is a decent view - we enjoyed the hot tub and appreciated that the yard is fenced so our pups could go do their thing without having to be leashed up or tethered.
This house is multi-level so there are lots of stairs which may not work for some. We will be back here for sure!!

Great view. Beach is exceptional and loved the options to get to it from challenging to easy. Was a little surprised by the 2 flights of stairs but was a beautiful view when you got to the top.

The house was clean, uncluttered and deserves every bit a 5-star rating. Truly exceptional! The kitchen was well-appointed in every way.The beds were comfortable and the linen was cosy & soft. The jacuzzi spa was an added treat after a long hike. Thank You Brian for allowing us to enjoy your lovely home. We will look forward to returning

The house backs to Cape Kiwanda with trails to the beautiful beach. Some seniors may find the trails to the beach challenging. It was fine for younger kids and parents. The kitchen is well stocked for baking and cooking. Note for cleaner: The house was tidy upon arrival though the floors and primary bath area rug could use a more thorough cleaning.

Wonderful stay. We really enjoyed the views and the hike to the sand dunes. Brian has stocked the place, so you’ll have everything you need.

Just perfect. Just the right amount of beds, kitchen things, thoughtful dog bowls, and sweet hot tub. Fresh and not over decorated. The view is to die for. It rained and stormed the whole weekend and watching the rain and clouds and surf and firs in all conditions was sublime.

This home has it all. Three bedrooms with king-sized beds. Clean and modern with all amenities. Very communicative and accommodating owner. Great views and close to everything. Can’t wait to stay again!

It doesn't get much better than this. The hot tub is phenomenal! The house is spacious and offers everything one needs for a wonderful beach retreat.
The access to the beach offersa variety of trails. You definitely get your heart pumping on a couple of inclines, but it's good for the soul.
Highly recommend!

This place is a real gem. From the greenery-framed view of crashing waves, to the well-equipped kitchen, to the clean, well-maintained hot tub, this rental is clearly run by someone who cares. Brian, the owner, is responsive and flexible. There's a magical little hike over the sandy hill to the awe-inspiring Cape Kiwanda Natural Area - the house basically backs on to this protected natural space - which has incredible dunes and lovely beaches.
The little touches are thoughtful - there are games and books, easily located extra blankets, and a pleasant little gas fireplace. Even the check-out cleaning list is reasonable and doable. The only drawback to this home is probably impossible to prevent: sand kinda gets everywhere - the sheets on our bed were just slightly sandy - not unclean, just sandy - as if they had been washed with a very sandy towel and no one noticed. If that kind of tiny quibble bothers you, perhaps stay in a hotel? It wasn't an issue for us!

Home was very clean. I agree, better in person. Upstairs setup was wonderful. Has everything you need. Owner is very good with communication. My only complaint was the master bed was a bit uncomfortable/hard. This may be a preference, but 3 different adults said the same thing after sleeping in it.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our time at your property. Everyone was comfortable. The kitchen and grill were easily usable for multiple meal preparations. The beach was accessible and the way back provided a daily source of outdoor exercise.

My husband and I, and our two mid 70s Mothers stayed a week here. They are both still pretty spry, so we loved the property. The trail to the left at the sandy knoll was the easiest for the mothers to traverse, the one strait down is pretty challenging. The property was very clean and amazingly well stocked. Every time we had the thought of "what about this", we discovered it already there. The WiFi worked great. No issues finding something to watch on the television during downtime. The view from the house was just beautiful.
Besides being in Pacific City, which is gorgeous on its own, we found that this property is within easy driving distance of Cannon Beach, Seaside, Tillamook, Lincoln City, Depot Bay and Newport. All of which were less than a two hour drive. The property owner was very communicative and helpful, answering questions and providing information. We would definitely stay again!

This is a very nice and clean house and should be on your shortlist to consider if you are visiting Pacific City. It is nicely appointed in terms of furniture and appliances, and the top floor is very open and has big windows overlooking the massive dune and facing the beautiful sunsets. I also really like the location of this house, as it is set apart from the busiest part of Pacific City and so the beach down below is relatively empty.
Be forewarned that this house has 3 different levels, so guests will need to go up and down the stairs to come and go, and to access the 2nd level bedrooms and the 1st level hot tub. Also, access to the beach will be a challenge to anyone who is not basically fit (or has been drinking a lot), although if that were the case, McPhillips Beach is just a few minutes drive away.
I'll definitely consider returning for another stay.

The house was well stocked with good quality housewares, comfortable layout and nice view. We had a glitch with the check in, we had to wait till 5:45pm to have the house to ourselves. Also the garbage can was overflowing when we arrived, so we had no place to place our garbage as it accumulated. Except for a couple of problems, we really enjoyed our stay.

We were a group of friends who just needed a quiet weekend away. This property was lovely, very clean with amazing views. The property owners communication was great! I highly recommend this as a vacation rental and hope to be back.

This is truly a perfect spot for a relaxing beach vacation! The house is beautiful and so is the view! We loved everything about the house. It was clean, spacious, fully stocked and a comfortable place to relax. We enjoyed exploring the different trails to the beach and climbing up the dunes. Brian was easy to communicate with and he gave us so much helpful information before our trip. We visit the Oregon Coast every summer and this was, by far, our favorite place we have stayed.

Most well apportioned VRBO we have stayed at! We wanted for nothing and had a very relaxing time. House was fantastic, clean, very centrally located to other locations up and down coast. Outstanding views and even saw whale tails from the house. Will definitely stay here again when in the Pacific City area. Many thanks!

Our family rented this beautiful home for a week long getaway on the Oregon coast. We had never been to Pacific City before and this home could not have been more ideally situated.
Not only was it immaculately clean upon arrival, and very very spacious, the setting was truly breathtaking.
The views from the decks and the scenery were captivating. We saw a giant bald eagle the first night and deer wandering about throughout our stay.
The short trek from the house to the sand dunes and beach was super fun for our family (both human and furry). Exploring all of the many varieties of sea life on the beaches during low tide kept us busy for hours and hours. And the (pristine) hot tub made for a very relaxing evening for all.
The house was also very very close to the main downtown area and it took just a couple of minutes to walk into town if we wanted to visit any of the shops or restaurants.
We cooked most meals at the house and they had everything you could think of to make it easy to prepare just about any meal, including ample dishware, spices, cookware, utensils, appliances, etc.
Brian was very accommodating and always quick to get back prior to our check in and during our stay.
We’ve rented many vacation properties over the years and have had a lot of great experiences. But this one has to be the best one yet.

Perfect Oregon Coast Vacation
One of the best vacation homes we have stayed in. It has everything if you are looking for an Oregon coast getaway/vacation. Well stocked kitchen and clean/working amenities like the grill and hot tub. We already booked another week next year and are telling all our friends to check it out.

Ocean Paradise
The property is in well maintained condition and had every convenience we needed. Kitchen was very upscale and spacious and we enjoyed the nice decor throughout the house. The ocean views were spectacular from every window on the beach side. We enjoyed whale watching from the deck and also from the living room area whether we were enjoying our morning coffee or relaxing in the afternoon . We would definitely stay there again. Brian (the host) was always available if we needed help. A great place for a family vacation.

This was our first time visiting Oregon and we could not have picked a more perfect place to stay! The home itself is beautiful, clean, well-stocked, and spacious. Perfect for our family of six. And, then there is the unbelievable view from the deck! We explored the beach--we especially enjoyed walking the shore during low tide and seeing starfish! There was a resident eagle that flew by everyday along with many other beautiful birds. The walk back up the dune was challenging but doable (take breaks to catch your breath). We ate delicious homemade dinners in almost every night in the dining room, overlooking Cape Kiwanda nature area. We went into Pacific City (2 minutes away), Tillamook, Cape Meares, Lincoln City, and Depoe Bay. Saw sea lions and grey whales. Chester's Market in Pacific City has the nicest staff! The Oar House Bar & Grill was fabulous! For bigger shopping, Fred Meyers in Tillamook was great. Absolutely incredible family vacation! Thank you, Brian!
