Convenient location to stations. Clean common areas. Easily contactable host.

Close to Termini train station. Good sized room with air conditioning. Comfortable to sleep in. Host was very helpful and welcoming.
The kitchen facilities are not in the room and are actually a communal space you share with 3 other rooms. Bathroom sometimes had a strange smell to it.

Room size was good, kitchen area with some facilities was useful, quick access to Rome suburban trains and main Rome terminal. 15 minute walk to the Colosseum
The street it is located in gives the impression it could be a little rough, however we didn't experience that, and in fact walking a couple of blocks and there were some nice restaurants and cut throughs to areas like the Colosseum and other attractions
The key set (2 keys, a fob and key "plate") and bulky to carry around and surprisingly a little noisy when other guests come and go - a little thing (first world problem :))

It is convenient to the Termini and walking distance to the Coliseum. A few small groceries are nearby and several restaurants are in the vicinity. The small room is clean and has air conditioning. The bathroom is clean and modern. The Metro stop is just outside the building.
The 3 or 4 rooms are a couple of floors up in an apartment building and share a common space with a small dorm size refrigerator and table with 4 chairs for all the rooms. The neighborhood has a fair amount of litter on the streets and graffiti on many of the buildings.
