It was tidy and mostly quite with the exception of a person with a very loud Harley that started at all hours. Day okay, night not okay! and one homeless guy screaming off and on.

The location was great. Parking was really good. The hosts were very communicative before we got there, so there was no stress whatsoever getting in to the rental. The pool area was beautiful and the beach area was immaculate and very nice to relax at. The tips about cooling off the room with the fan were very helpful. The hide a bed in the living room was actually one of the most comfortable ones I’ve ever slept on. All in all, we had a very positive experience and would recommend this to our friends.

Our stay at Kona Isle was wonderful! My boyfriend and I were here for a week in March and loved the location of the place, the ease of access to the pool, and reading on the chairs while looking at the waves crashing on the shore. The apartment complex also has outdoor grills, which was an added bonus. The unit has a lot of potential to be amazing, but it's in need of some renovations. That being said, we loved our stay and would recommend for the lower price point. I'd suggest to buy at least a more comfortable bed, though, and perhaps freshen up some of the linens, etc. My biggest complaint was the management company, who did not provide good customer service. When I called the office, they assured me that my security deposit check ($1000 for one week!) would not be cashed unless there was an issue, but I found out a few days into my stay that they did cash it (they never told me, instead I saw on my bank statement). It was quite stressful and shocking to see $1000 out of my account without explanation. While I eventually got my money back two weeks later, it was quite a strange way to do business and left me with a weird feeling due to Knutson's lack of communication.
